I have been going to Goodfellas for over a year. I moved to ABQ in March of 2015 and did not get my haircut until I went back to my home town in July! I found Goodfellas shortly after thanks to my two good friends Mike and Sal who are regulars there. No one else has touched my hair since! They can do it all, the right way, the first time. Price is awesome, I always tip because they go above and beyond. Excellent service, stand-up gentleman working the place. Kid friendly!

Decent haircut from Walter and Daniel, but Rich gives 5-star haircuts. He pays serious attention to detail and offers beard trimming for no extra charge. On top of all that, the cuts are modestly priced. Call for an appointment; there's usually a wait for walk-ins.

Terrible service, refused to listen to what the client wants for their cut, and only seem to care about pushing their religious beliefs on you. bad, bad, bad business. I do not have any problem with what someone believes, but if a guest is coming in for a haircut, do not ever ask them if they "believe in god". Seriously? Stick to the haircut, making sure it's coming out well, making sure the client is satisfied with the cut, even casual conversation is completely perfect, instead of using all of your energy into converting every customer who comes in. That could all be mostly ignored if the haircut itself was good, but no, the barber did absolutely nothing that I had requested. Look, the staff was overall pretty friendly, but as far as a haircut goes, and the business of a barbershop goes, they're completely terrible. Definitely will not come back again.

Best place to get a haircut. I've tried many places before this one and once I went here, I found my place. Rich, Daniel, or Walter they are all great at what to do. Can get a face shave there that feels amazing afterward. Favorite Barber for me is Rich or Daniel. Great atmosphere

My friend got his hair n beard trimmed here and his hair is uneven as well as his beard underneath on the neck the line is completely crooked and it looked terrible after he went home and showered. He had to pay someone else to.fix it. If you're gonna be a small business in Albuquerque you should honor your clientele and at least try to render a dissatisfied customers issues every customer should walk out of your business happy and better.than came in.

Hands down the best barber I've ever been to, and that covers more years that I'd care to think about. Rich has a great group of barbers working there. They have incredible attention to detail, take a lot of time to listen to exactly what you want, and then deliver with a better attitude than you have any right to expect from a barber. Seriously. Rich is a perfectionist -- which is to say that you cannot crawl out of the chair until he is happy with your cut, and he is more picky than I am about the results. All of that comes at a great price and with friendly service. Don't be turned off by the number of people waiting when you try them out, as I almost did. The wait is worth the results. Highly recommended.

Rich is a mad beard scientist! I've had my beard trimmed at multiple places in town and nobody, NOBODY hacks out my beard like Rich. This man gives a damn about your beard. Your vision is his vision and by the time he's done you want him to be happy with it because you were happy with it a half an hour ago. His bar is way above yours. Worth the time. Worth the money.....and he under charges. Become a regular before he figures out what he is worth!

Google says it’s walk ins only, but if you walk in you’ll be pushed to the back of the line so appointments can go first no matter how long you wait. Nobody even acknowledges you, this is clearly a closed off community and any new customers are not welcome

Don't let the looks scare you off, this place does a great cut. The barbers are really cool guys and the cut for the price is crazy good. $15. (Tip you cheapskate) the wait can be long but they have couches and it's fun to chill and hangout.

Great Experience. I got a haircut, beard trim and shave for a reasonable price. My barber was Rich, the owner, who typically handles appointments while the other barbers handle the walk-ins. The lines were straight and clean, and my shave was close. The conversation was good and I got along with everyone. This was my first trip so I can't speak to their skills, but I could tell they take their craft serious just by watching. My wait was long, but I realized that's because they take their time to get it right.
