I've had really, really bad and expensive haircuts in Santa Fe since I've moved here and was about to try this place until I saw $40 for a haircut, shave and beard trim. The photos from customers saying you guys aren't listening to how short people want their sides on the fade doesn't help much either. No haircut in Santa Fe is worth $40. I was getting top notch cuts in Las Cruces for $12. Will never come here. You'd get more business if you didn't charge the same price I could buy two full tanks of gas for.

After reading all the great reviews and since my regular hairdresser was unavailable, I decided to give this place a shot since I was way overdue for a trim. I explained to the barber that I wanted a 2 at the bottom and faded “straight” up on the sides. I specifically asked her not to follow my scalp as I do not Ike it to be rounded where the sides meet the top. Basically, I want it to look somewhat like a long flat top. Unfortunately, I was not too impressed with the way my hair came out after I was finally turned around so I could see it in the mirror. I asked her to fix a few spots which she did as best as she could and I said, “it looks good” just so I could hurry up and get out of there before she cut it any shorter. After paying $25 (plus $5.00 tip for being a great conversationalist). I hurried home so I could fix the sides and top with my own clippers... Next time I’ll look shaggy another week and just wait for my regular barber who does a superior job at a third of the price! You be the judge, do the two sides look straight to you?!

I’m not from Santa Fe and I’m like a lot of people and I worry that I’ll get a bad cut when I travel but I just got my haircut from Kitty. She says she’s only in once in a while but I can’t complement her enough! Perfect fade! Incredibly friendly and welcoming. The shop was a little hard to find but well worth it once I found it. I have an interesting situation since I don't really have any hair (balding so I just buzz it), so why am I writing a review for a Barbershop? Well, I have a rather substantial beard and it's hard to find someone to keep it looking its best. And I discovered Dino's!! Christine is not only a great barber and just touched me up today, but she is such an awesome person!!! I love Dino's and promise you will too if you give them a shot! Highly recommended and the only place I will go.

Basically barber shop took advantage of me over charged and also cut me during a razor fade. After being cut in multiple spots I wasn't discount but charged 40 for a razor fade which is listed at 25 beard trim run from 5 to 10 dollars but I was charged 40?

The only place where you can get a guaranteed licensed professional barber and not worry about being in the hands of students or fresh off the school floor cuts like the rest of the shops in town. Where your privacy is taken seriously and not recorded for others pleasure to watch and hear. Where advertisement isn't bought it's earned through word of mouth. Atmosphere like barbershops used to be where everyone loved what they did and kept greed out the door. Where you can hang up your hat and feel at home and part of the family. The ONLY place I would EVER trust taking my kids to. Without Dino's I would be stuck going to Albuquerque for cuts because everywhere else here is horribly corporated with lousy service and horrible cuts. Definitely Santa Fe's saving grace for haircuts

My favorite barber experience since leaving my all-time favorite barber in Montana six years ago. When I asked the shop owner if she could do the cut I wanted, she laughed, saying that cut is the first cut aspiring barbers learn. So why has it been impossible for me to get that cut for the past six years? I don't know. I think rigid ideas about male-female haircuts get in the way, and whatever other prefab ideas a hair cutter might foist on a customer. Yesterday I got the cut I wanted because Christine (shop owner) listened, and because she wants to give her customers what they want-- not some overlaid fashion idea. She was fast, good, there were no strong product smells nor loud bad music. Absolutely perfect for me. Highly recommended.
