Prompt and nice. Hair cut is no longer something bothering me after I find this place. I had my hair cut with Carlos, the partner of Steve. He is not someone who only copies the pictures in the catalogue. He really does that as what you wish. The price is very reasonable.

I'd had a few bad cuts lately and I was looking for a new barber. So, I came in towards closing on a whim after reading a few positive reviews on the google machine. Steve gave me a haircut and beard trim that were really fantastic and he's just secured his position as my barber of choice. Not only did he stay almost 30 minutes past his closing time to take care of me, but he did exactly as I asked and executed it flawlessly! And, the price was spot on; totally reasonable. One note: it's cash only here, so make sure to hit the ATM before you roll up.

I have scoured the internet for a skilled barber in Manhattan that does not overcharge for a classic scissor cut. After three years living in the city and countless hacked cuts later I almost gave up on Manhattan. I have finally found a real barber. I had a long mop of hair when I walked in. The friendly Steve greeted me, I gave him a description of what I wanted, and 15 minutes I was done. He did not rush; you can tell he is just very good at what he does. See ya soon Steve.

I got the most precise haircuts in my life at this place with Mario Guzman, who's very detail oriented and willing to spend time on each client. Was heartbroken to learn he'd left, and finally hunted him down at his new dig -- J-Mar Special Touch in the East Village. Sounds silly, but I'm so glad to have my barber back.

At 1130 am on a Friday in April, I got a chair right away. A chap name Carlos cut my hair and was meticulous, friendly, and skilful. I don't live in New York; in fact I live across the Atlantic, but I was in the US on business for over a month and I couldn't go to my regular guy in my town. I would go back to Steve's anytime.

Nice guy. Uneven cut. No neck wrap and same gown as guy before me. Did not sweep up the hair from guy before me either, so I sat in his hair. No have with razor and cream. Won't go back.

I have been here four times now - I plan my travel schedule to be sure I am in town at haircut time, lol. I like Mario; a good barber and friendly. I tried two other barbers the same neighborhood but was not at all satisfied. This place is fine.
