Finally!! I have been getting my haircuts in the city for years, and then this place opened and it looked promising. finally went in and had a great shave and a haircut! and the shop looks awesome, realy comfortable and chill! i will be coming here at least once a week! check out the "hangover treatment"

Just moved into town- Stags Only is definitely my best find yet in hoboken. What a cool shop and great barbers. Got May haircut a few times now by different barbers , and just got a beard trim and my beard looks so much better now. Highly recommend!

I’ve only gotten my haircut at Staggs Only since I moved to Hoboken. I don’t use a specific barber but they’re all consistent with excellent cuts and take their time. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the shop is very clean.

I’ve been in hoboken for about 5 years now, and I can’t believe I just found this place now. What a cool barbershop. I came in on a thursday night, I didn’t make an appointment but they were able To squeeze me in- while I waited they offered me a beer (they have a beer vending machine). Within a few mins i jumped in the chair with Sade. So attentive and what a great cut, hot towel and all. Great price and experience, this is my new weekly spot, highly recommend!

I’ve changed my hairstyle a few times over the last 2 years , and these guys have always been on point and helpful. I just recently did a hot shave for the holidays it was awesome!!! I would not recommend this place! I don't think it is appropriate or good conversation to talk bad about your place of work in front of customers. They mentioned they don't care about this place and how it looks, well it shows. The place was covered in hair, paper, salt, and snow from outside. The barbers appearances were sloppy and untidy as well. Furthermore stop engaging with customers about threesomes and other sex stories. And let's not forget the sexist atmosphere that radiated from everyone. Don't go here!

When I first move to Hoboken, I tired a bunch of different barber shops. By far Stags Only has been hands down the best barbershop experience I have had. Mike aka “Jersey Mike” is a absolute professional and one of the best barbers you can get your haircut from. I would highly recommend this barbershop and check out Jersey Mike.

It’s a nice fancy barbershop. Nice Music Nice People Nice Ambiance. I went for a regular haircut. It was overall just satisfactory. I feel I have got better haircut in the past for this price. It’s just the place you are paying 25-30 bucks. They offer you a drink so if you are into that, you’d love it. Update: They have a very convenient online booking web app. It’s pretty cool.

I’ve updated the review since the misrepresentation has been remedied. ———————————————— Let me be clear - this negative review is because Stags Only is misrepresenting prices on their website. I booked an appointment for a $15 beard trim on their website, but I was charged $25 afterwards because they apparently haven’t updated the prices online to reflect current prices (the staff present in the shop agreed this was the case). My barber was friendly, the beard trim she did was good, I tipped her accordingly for a job well done...but being forced to withdraw money at their ATM to pay almost double the advertised price really rubbed me the wrong way and soured the otherwise decent experience.

The staff is friendly and always talks about fun and interesting topics during my haircut and they play great music. The online appointment system is also very easy to use and convenient to book your haircut. I was lucky enough to start with Nailah when I was just a walk-in and have been making appointments with her ever since. It’s honestly been the best haircut I’ve had for many years! She just gets my hair!

Booked for a regular haircut, turned up but was refused service by Jersey Mike. He told me what I wanted was a skin fade and takes longer than the allocated 15 minutes and he didn't have time. He asked me to rebook but select skin fade. I checked the site and the two options allocate the same amount of time. This place wasted my time, I didn't return.
