One of the best hair cuts I’ve ever received. This was my first time here because I don’t live in the area, but I was close by for work. I’ll definitely be making a point to travel here more often moving forward, because it was totally worth it. When you walk in, the set up is like an old school barbershop. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and even offered me a drink. I got a haircut with Christian, who happens to be the owner. I was impressed by the attention to detail he gave and how he paid attention to what I said. Some barbers work too quickly and miss the small details. After my haircut, he gave me a hot shave which was very enjoyable. They offer a more thorough hot towel shave, but I didn’t have enough time that day unfortunately. I’ll definitely be back for that in the future. Afterwards, Christian washed my hair and then styled it. It came out great. Definitely make a point of stopping by for a haircut or shave if you are in the area. Well worth it!

I have been coming to Maskeley now for almost 2 years. When you first enter it is bright, clean, and always welcoming. They have wine, water, coffee, and snacks. I personally go to Chavez. He is great. Always listens to what I need and never disappoints. He always gives his input, which I think is very important and shows his passion for every customer and their needs. The rest of the staff I know is very attentive and skilled at what they do as well because I always see smiles when customers leave. I could keep going on and on about how great this place is but I will let you guys figure that out on your own.

I walked in wondering if I had made the right decision going to a barbers/salon where I weren't sure if they could do my hair.... but but boy was I wrong! The barber shop had 2 females that were doing hair for both Mes and females. I would say the shop is for predominantly Caucasian hair, but they were able to trim my African-British hair for me and make it look well shaped. I look forward to going back for a shape up!

Hair cuts in this area are generally expensive and this place is no exception. Price is around the upper part of the local average with the quality service that comes with that. The price for what you get is a good deal.

My brother-in-law had a nice cut one day and I commented on it and asked him where he got it. Maskeley. Maskeley? Interesting. I decided to check it out. Since my initial appointment, I go back on a regular basis and use whomever is available for my schedule. The appointments are quite easy to book online as well. Cozy environment. Great service and consistency. Businesses need to be consistent with their service to create customer loyalty. This is a deal breaker for a lot of people. They find a great shop leave happy but then come back in 2 weeks and their haircut was terrible. Trust me, you will find consistency and great service at Maskeley. My hair is very difficult to cut - it's very coarse and super frizzy. Not only am I very picky when it comes to haircuts, but my uncooperative hair also makes it difficult for barbers to give me a great cut if they're not experienced. My brother recommended Maskeley Barbershop and I booked using their phone app with Chavez. Chavez is extremely detail-oriented and uses what seems like 10 different products to cut my hair. I've experimented with different styles and he has been able to pull it off every time. Chavez is very professional, laid back, warm, and super friendly - we always have great conversations. When it comes to barbershops and salons, if they are good with razors, then they are not good with scissors and vise versa. Maskeley Barbershop is the only place where all of their barbers are great at everything. Always book your appointment ahead of time as they fill quickly. Complementary coffee, tea, water, wine, snacks, magazines, and TV are available. The decor is very nice and makes you feel like a gentleman.

I moved into the neighborhood a year ago and one of the benefits was having a 5 star high end men's salon right down the street. Would recommend Maskeley to anyone as the team is professional, personable and excellent at what they do. Ashley is my stylist and she is awesome. The one thing I would note to someone looking for a new salon is that, like anything that people like, where the service is high quality and is in demand, book in advance. And, if you book an appointment, be there in on time. Have seen instances where people roll in significantly late and expect to sit in the chair. The team does a great job in managing this but customers need to do their part so that everyone can enjoy the great service. Give Maskeley a try and betting you have found your place.

I went to Maskeley last Saturday afternoon for a haircut because I had a wedding to attend later on the night. All the barbershops I usually attend were booked up to capacity and when I entered Maskeley I was assisted with a barber named Wendy. She gave me a nice line up with a fade. I’m very picky when it comes to my haircuts but this one was something I didn’t expect for my barber to do for me. She handled all of my request perfectly for my haircut and I can’t wait to go back for another cut from Wendy.

Hands down best barbershop. 1.very clean place and brand new place. 2.offers water or coffee while you wait also has books to read. Nice pleasant waiting area. 3.owner/barber Chavez is very nice and actually listens to your needs and makes recommendations. 4. Takes his time to cut your hair, you do not feel your haircut was rushed. 5. Very professional place not your typical barbershop, you can feel comfortable bringing your kids there. 6. After the haircut was completed he washed my hair with shampoo and styled my hair. Worth every penny. Note. Uses the app Vagaro to book appointments so that you can show up when your appointment is due and not have to wait around. He also showed up to my appointment during a bad winter storm, so I would say he's very reliable.

I've been going to Chavez at Maskeley for a couple of years, and have never been happier with a barber. From the classic decor, to the refreshments and reading materials in the waiting area, to the hot towels for the shaves, every detail has been thoughtfully and tastefully considered. Chavez himself is friendly, engaging, and dependable, but most importantly he consistently delivers a great cut, and an expertly done straight-razor shave. His schedule is always full, so booking at least a week in advance is a must.
