I've been meaning to do a detailed review for a while. I came across JT's Barber Shop when I had first moved to NJ and was in desperate need of a haircut. To add to the level of desperation, I was moving around on a broken ankle and crutches. Upon walking in and seeing they were cash only at the time, I asked if they had an ATM. Unfortunately, they did not at that point (they do now) but John, seeing me in my gimpy state, offered to cut my hair and asked to just pay him back next time. I have to say I was surprised to see that level of trustworthiness from any business nowadays. That reason alone would've been enough to make me a loyal customer, but the place itself has a lot going for it. It has a great look and a real community feel. John and Mike do great work too; still the best haircut and barbershop in my opinion, even after I moved back to Florida. In fact, it's one of the things I miss about the Garden State. Wishing you guys all the best!

Very welcoming people when I walked in for the first time today. The vibe and atmosphere was great. They take haircuts seriously and make sure you leave looking good. This will be my new place to get haircuts while away at school.

I have been getting my hair cut at JT's for almost 5 years now by a variety of barbers. Each one has done an outstanding job and the ambiance of the store is fantastic. 10-11am is the best time to avoid any crowds.

This place is a gem. I stumbled on it via google when moving to Cedar grove. John is the ace. Well, everyone is an ace here. The charm and easy going nature of everyone with the music selection makes this perfect place. Oh yes the haircuts are great too. Been coming for a year I think now. Will do for many more
