I found this place online for my husband who wanted a place where he could get his hair and beard done at the same time. He absolutely loved it! The service was great and bonus our 8 year old sat (almost) completely still for his haircut which never happens!!!!! They will be back.

Lucky's barbershop is a great barbershop setup was really nice had s nice old school vibe, the barbers greet you as they call you to their booths. Chris was awesome. As a first time visitor here to New Hampshire I was impressed with Chris. I usually dont let anybody cut my hair but if I didnt live 5 hours away he would be the one I would go to.

What this place needs are cubicles. Seems good because of long waits but really the people "working" spend the majority of their time talking amongst themselves rather than actually cutting hair. Every time I've gone my hair is cut wrong and ends up cut into a style I did not ask for . The staff seems distracted and not focused on the customer. If you feel like spending money to sit around for an hour listening to a bunch of bros laughing at each other go here. If you want a good barbershop look elsewhere.

I got my first cut at luckys nine years ago. No one else has cut my hair since then. The professionalism, attention to detail and customer service are second to none. Sure sometimes you may have to wait but like all things good it's worth it.

They do pretty well with haircuts but it's a different story when it comes to beards... Walked in with a 6+ month full beard and asked for a light trim, walked out with a cross between a chin strap and looking like one of the Spartans in the movie 300. Had to shave the rest off when I got home. Nice place but expect a 1 - 2 hour wait plus the 1+ hour haircut. One thing that bothered me was the time it took the barbers to seat the next person between haircuts. After finishing each client the barbers spend 5 - 10 minutes texting and standing around while tons of people are waiting.

All the reviews about their cuts and atmosphere are correct but very disappointed with their barbers slow pace to get next client up in the chair. After they finish a cut each one of them hang out around the cash register with their cell phone in hand like nobody's time matters. Both times I have been there 3 hrs plus also visual noticed other customers getting frustrated with their lack of interest in getting the next customer up in the chair. Also 14 yr old kids cuts are expensive $19. Now I just take one of boys there once in a while instead of all of them at once. The time they spend on each customer is ok but it's what the barbers do after they finish with their last client. Its very unprofessional. Sometimes 6/7 people waiting with 4 barbers on and one client in chair. Other than this snail crawl pace and prices the place is pretty awesome!!

If you want an authentic barbershop experience and the best cut you've never had, stop in at Lucky's. There's a pool table in the waiting room for those who get bored easily. Once you go there once, you won't have to look for a barbershop again.

The barbers are technically superior as well as friendly. The atmosphere is how barber shops should be (perhaps a little more padding on the waiting seats for the middle age crowd) A superior service and exceptional value.

This is one of the best places in Concord to get a haircut. On some days there may be a wait, but their waiting room has an impressive array of books, and a pool table. If the wait is long, the owner will pop back to see if anyone needs something to drink. The haircuts themselves are fantastic, professionally done, and reasonably priced. If you're feeling stressed out, you might consider getting a straight razor shave, as it can be very relaxing. All told, the service, skill, personally, and atmosphere make this place the best barber shop in Concord.

Worth the wait: Though I often do not have the time to wait for a first rate hair cut; when I do this is my place to get my hair done and considering the time they take to get your cut right, it comes out looking like a cut 3 to 5 times more expensive.

Wait can be long, but these guys cut my hair fast, but spent the time. Did my beard too. I was happy. Price is VERY reasonable. Highly recommend this shop. Just it is walk-in so be ready to wait a while. I think I waited an hour. No complaints though, I was expecting it. They are open 7 days a week though which I love. Very convenient.

This shop is my favorite barber I've ever been to. They have chairs from the 1920s, they have a large staff that keeps the line moving, but expect your barber to take time to get your hair done just right. They spend a lot of time on you and are clearly dedicated to quality. You are always greeted upon entering and thanked when leaving. They genuinely appreciate your business. The ambience is classic old school and the music is an interesting blend of styles that goes well with its interesting blend of barbers. Enjoy the pool table in the back while you wait.

Loved coming here in the past. Came home on leave and was looking forward to this. Called ahead of time to see if we made if before 5 would we be seen. We get there 10 minutes before close since we were stuck in traffic, this didn't matter. We were told There was a big line and they were closing early since it would be a one hr wait . We look inside to see just a couple people. Not only were told it would be seen and we rush the traffic to get here but then we were lied to about the wait. Horrible customer service and it's a shame to see it become like this

If your the kind of man who knows how to treat a women right, you go to Lucky's. If you are exceptional in the "sack" you are a permanent client. For those who rant about waiting for perfection this is not the place for you. If you go to there web site Lucky's proposition is clearly stated. I am 39 year old man. Because I have very little faith in the 3 minute man barbers. I have buzzed the hairs on my head most of my life. Three days ago my 10 year old son and I went to Lucky's for the first time. Seven people ahead of us at four. So we played some pool, and enjoyed great bonding time. An hour past, now six people ahead. I thought to myself wow I have waited my entire life for this quality atmosphere. They close at five, I told my son we will come back tomorrow. All though they would have cut our hair. Next day we arrived early and bonded for an hour. Also a great way to teach a yong man, patients equals perfection. Our turn, Chilly greeted us as gentelmen. Chilly sculpted my sons hair to absolute perfection. I was so empressed with Chilly's skills, I offered him my neck. Thats right I trust Lucky's artisans with my life. Chilly took "I am guessing" 20 minutes to shave my face. Never in my life have I trusted any one with a blade any where near my face, let alone my neck. I must say Chilly graciously gave me the best shave I have ever had. First time will not be the last. Thank You Chilly. My son and I will be permanent clients at Lucky's parlour.

Never left a barbershop feeling so gross. They did a good job on the fade but wish my barber would've payed more attention to the haircut he was doing, the left side fade was untouched up top and now i have to recut it the even the fade. When i got in the car i had hair all on my face and shoulders and when i got home to shower most of the trimmed hair from the top was still in there and clogged my drain. Overall great place and atmosphere but the barbwrs arent focused in their work enough.

Waited about two hours which wouldn’t have been an issue normally. But the last 30 minutes of the wait was as each barber finished they stood around and chit chatted instead of getting the next person waiting. And then after all the chairs were empty it was a good 10-15 minutes before they called the next person up. As far as the cut, they do a good job but I’m not sure if the guy I got was having a bad day or something. but he kept stopping to check his phone and when I walked outside to meet my wife and kid my wife pointed out that I had 3 or 4 cuts on the back of my neck. This was my second time coming here. The first time was a great experience. But this second visit will probably be my last. There’s a lot of barber shops around so I’m sure I will find a better experience in no time.

Straight up probably the best haircut you can get in New England for any price. Their prices aren't even just reasonable, the customer is basically committing the crime of theft of service. I've had haircuts that cost $100 and Lucky's does a better job for a fifth of the price. It would be foolish to go anywhere else if you live within an hour of these guys. Don't mind the impatient reviews, the wait is because Lucky's takes the time to do every step right.
