After living in NH for 2 years and trying to find just a decent barber which is a challenge, I decided to give Checkers a try but not expecting anything spectacular. I walked in everyone was personable and it was a typical barbershop. I was asked to put my name on the board and Evan said he could take care of me. To my surprise for a guy who has only been a barber a short time, he hooked me up with a haircut that I have been looking for. As DJ Pauly D would say, it’s “Fresh to Death”. I will be a repeat customer and Evan is now my guy for haircuts. I highly recommend this place.

Just a good old fashioned barber shop... Except new and stylish. So... Old school feel with new age cuts. The barbers here are the best I've ever been to or heard of. Hair cuts are extremely affordable, so I highly recommend them.

Got a haircut on Mon I was refered by my boss it was hard to find at first but I found it. It was a nice lil place and I guess I got lucky wait wasn't long either☺. Cory did my haircut he took his time and he was very friendly. I am definitely going back.

Not too thrilled, my boyfriend recently did a walk in appointment and was denied service. He just wanted a haircut and the woman at the counter told him no, just because his hair was longer. It’s A BARBER SHOP, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CUT HAIR. He also came in about an hour and forty five minutes before closing. If it takes someone that long to cut hair, maybe they shouldn’t be cutting hair.

I love this place. It’s one HELL of a spot to get a shave and a haircut by some of the nicest people in NH. My friend Corey is a barber here and he always cuts my hair and beard on point and how I ask him to. If y’all ever want a slick cut, head here!

It's alright. The problem is consistency. You walk in, and you toss your name up on a whiteboard and you're taken care of in that order. So you really have no say who cuts your hair (and there's a range of skill levels). So I've been 3 times, first hair cut... awesome! Noted the guy's name. Next two times.... noooooot so great. So, I'd love to give the place a 4/5 star rating, but when it's a literal lottery of which barber you get, you lose points. Sorry. Maybe take appointments to alleviate this.

This place is perfect young boys that want fresh new hair style or a clean fade. All the way to men with beards that just don't know how to control their beard, I guarantee you walk out with a clean new feeling. I felt like I was in a 1950 barber shop. Straight razor shave , hot towel......... I had a feeling like I just got a hour massage. Love this place!!!

I go in and it doesn't take long to get in a chair. They always cut it exactly as I want it which is a military grade flat top. They dont just clean up the back of your neck and sideburns with the clippers. They use a straight razor. They give you a punch card also and after I think its 10 haircuts the next one is free. Better than any barber shop I have ever been to.

Wait for walk-ins is usually pretty long but the staff is very friendly and do a great job.
