Just walked in at 5.50pm. They don’t close until 7pm. Was told that there were 4 names ahead of me and they wouldn’t be able to fit me in today. This is a walk in barber shop. If you’re taking appointments .... take them!! but if you’re going to take walk-ins then you should take them up until a minute before you close. Awful service!! I used to be a barber and this isn’t how it works. Will be finding another barber shop to spend my money at. Make sure you “put your name down” well in advance

I thought I was happy at my usual barber shop, but and The Best Of Times Barber Shop has raised my standards. The attention to detail and craftmanship I encountered was fantastic. The fellas in the shop were cool and professional creating a nice atmosphere to go along with the great cut. The straight razor neck clean up makes me want to go back for a full shave and I haven't been clean shaven for over a decade. My barber was Nate and he gave me the nicest cut I have ever? had! Too bad I'm only visiting from the west coast, if not I would have a new go to barbershop!

I've dgon here 3 times in the last year. Two of those times I got a great haircut. The 3rd time however was an absolute TRAINWRECK!! This to me was also the most important cut because I was leaving for vacation that night & going somewhere I needed to be presentable.... I don't get it either because the guy that cut my hair this time has been a barber for years in Dover but it was almost like a toddler did it I swear. I asked for an almost skin face up to a medium length on top and the guy gave me a crew cut, terrible fade, and went so high I honest to goodness am not exaggerating when I say if it was only longer on top it would be nothing short of a mohawk! It's horrible! And the worst part about it is I gave him a $10 tip. So it cost me $30. I like the guy as a person but I don't know what's gotten into him it's the large man with glasses.... Be cautious!!

Showed up at 6:10 was informed "id never get in for 7pm closing time. There was 4 people in 4 chairs and 3 people at the waiting list. I've been coming here for years and the larger man with the beard and bald head was rude as they get. I WILL NEVER COME BACK! Update: I received a phone call from the owner offering the rectify my experience, although I didnt take him up on his offer it was a kind gesture and I appreciated it.

Went in there and got a celebrity quality cut for cheap. They even cleaned me up with a straight razor. Awsomr place, looking foward to going back.

I hadn’t had a professional cut my hair in 15 years. I had let my hair grow very long over the last couple years, was sick of it and was wondering what type of place could even tackle the job. Did I need to go to a hair salon or would a barbershop be able to deal with the major overhaul I was looking for? I got some advice that this place was good, read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I got there at 10 am on a Monday and was in a chair within 15-20 min. And it’s not like there was only one person cutting hair. They had 4 chairs full and a list on the wall. These are all good signs that people like the place. Definitely don’t want to go somewhere where they’re waiting for business to walk through the door. Even early Monday morning... Nate listened to me have no real clue what I wanted and knew exactly what I was looking for somehow. He was meticulous while trimming my massive head that had mid-back length hair into something clean, smooth and stylish. Very easy to maintain, too. I was thrilled with his work and I’d absolutely go back to them again. He cut my hair exactly how I had pictured it in my head. I’d hope to get Nate again since he did such a nice job, but I assume all the guys there are good at what they do because they were all giving very nice haircuts to everyone coming through the door while I was there. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice trim or even a total overhaul like I was looking for and got. Thanks very much!

Word of the wise, it gets busy really quickly. The barbers take there time to make sure it comes out great and listens to what you want and asks questions if they're not 100% sure. I don't think I'll go anywhere else now...

Warren did an amazing job, I'm glad I found my new barber shop on my first try. The location is pretty easy to get in and out of, and I didn't have much of a wait time though I'm told that's usually not the case. Cash only, 20$ for a standard haircut, and you cannot make reservations so keep that in mind.

I have been here 3 times for a haircut, and two of the times I had to have my wife fix the absolute butcher job they did. I get a standard mens cut that shouldn't take more than 20 minutes, but it takes these untalented hacks 45 minutes just to mess it up. Extremely expensive ($30 with a beard trim), ridiculous wait times, sleezy decor, and the absolutely worst barbers I have ever seen. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because I got a cut from the owner one of the times, and he did an awesome job. I will never go back.

Ive been a regular for over a year and have loved this place, but they just jacked up the price of a haricut by 25%. this sucks because usually i just hit the atm on the way there and $20 covers the cut and tip. now ive got to break an extra $20 when i hate carrying cash. Also, i like to get advice from my barber and usually these guys are on point, but their apprentice doesnt have a clue and was too proud to ask the other barbers opinion. in the end the guy just cleaned up the sides and still charged full price. im definitely not going back
