Oh and for the lady who came in and said her dog was a service dog and had no paper's!! Don't get mad at the owner! Be mad at yourself for having a service dog and no paper's! Cheap and good cut, lots of cool hair metal memorabilia. However with all the hair metal stuff and all the rockers on the walls have very long hair, as well as the barber, makes you feel a little uncomfortable to be getting a short cut.

My son recently decided to try barbershops in town. He went to two and was fairly satisfied. I recently met JJ who informed me that he owns Get A Haircut, so I decided to bring my son there the other day. The place is like an awesome rock museum, clean, and tidy..... impeccable atmosphere. JJ and Tracy are wonderful people to talk to and my son's cut is by far the best I have ever seen. JJ is kind, polite, and extremely patient as well as meticulous and attentive. Not only the best price in town, but exceptional service to go with it. My son absolutely loves his cut and as long we're in Vegas, he'll be making Get A Haircut his go-to barbershop.

I had my haircut for the first time today, here. This will be my barber shop until I leave Las Vegas, even though I get a simple haircut a lot of barbers can't cut my hair, the way I like my haircut. Some people complain the barbershop is too quiet and the barber isn't as talkative my thing is, I do not mind quiet and I only care if my barber gives me a good haircut. To be a fair review, the only negative thing about this barber shop, is that they only take cash, however that isn't that big of a deal.

Slip into a glass of LA style, and get a haircut Las Vegas! I can't recommend this place enough; Fast, straightforward, and imminently affordable. You won't even mind if there's a wait, because the whole place is a museum of vintage rock-n-roll culture, with guitars, posters, album covers, etc - it just oozes style. The proprietor is a real cool cat and his mad skillz will have you coming back again. An asset to Vegas.

This gentleman is not a very welcoming man, he was cool when I walked in but as I watched him work, I noticed he didn’t talk to anyone in his chair, and seemed annoyed at what people asked for (myself included) keep in mind no phones are allowed while he works (which is fine) but he doesn’t engage you, you just sit there and let him cut your hair in silence, I’ve never had that before, and that’s cool, but if you can’t use your phone, and there’s no movie playing, and it’s so quiet in there, should I just nap while you cut? I must have gotten him on a bad day, but I was afraid to even ask for the bathroom, cause I felt like he was going to snap at me, and I didn’t wanna be rude to him. I wanted to leave the minute he started, he had a problem with me shifting (I get it your cutting hair, but legit my legs were falling asleep). There are 4 chairs and 1 barber and a line of 10 people, acknowledge those people, thank them for waiting, I don’t know if I would come again, but it’s a 10 dollar cut so I guess I can’t conplain.

This was the only place i researched here since living to Vegas that was open on a Sunday! I stopped in here as the first customer of the day. I met JJ the owner, a down to earth rocker with the sweet gear to back it up. He asked specific questions about how I like my hair cut, length etc. He did an awesome job! He pays close attention to detail when he cuts. Don't expect a rushed job here. Usually after a cut I have to go home and cut long hairs that the barber somehow missed--not the case here. Quality at a very inexpensive price here ($10). Thank you JJ for the professionalism and quality job! I'll be returning here from now on!

I'm new in town and needed to find a reputable barber to get my haircut. After a quick search, I found Get a Haircut and had the pleasure of having JJ, the owner and sole employee, give me a fresh cut! The shop is completely decked out with all sorts of late 70s and 80s rock memorabilia all from JJ's collection over the years; he told me that wasn't even all of it! Guitars, albums, props, pictures, you name it. During the haircut JJ also told me some damn cool stories back from his days of being an aspiring rockstar, ask him they're well worth a listen. By the time it was all said and done, I had a great looking haircut and an awesome experience. I just may have found my regular haircut spot!

It's walk-ins only so you cannot make an appointment. The barber is careful and deliberate and does a really good job. Of particular interest is the music videoes playing on the TV - if you're not a fan of soft rock/progressive rock/heavy metal you may not enjoy the wait. Otherwise it's an interesting diversion for the wait.

I was visiting for a conference and needed a quick haircut. I found this little gem outside of the strip and is very fairly priced. However, I was surprised at the awesome Rock-themed environment and that J.J. Is the only barber and has worked everyday for 3 years, minus taking 1 day off. He was very attentive to my hair and even finished it off with a straight razor to clean up my neck area. I highly recommend supporting him and his establishment. It's unique and provides amazing service.

Don't go if your nose is running guys! You'll have to wait for 40min in line so he can tell you he can't cut your hair if you're sick because he'll have to disinfect all his tools after you. I used to get my haircut here for the past few months but this did it for me.

My friend and I spent here about a hour for 2 man hair-cuts. We are tourist, so we didn't know what the numbers of the trimmer mean. JJ took care of us fabulously. I was visiting Vegas from Canada and was looking for a place to get a haircut. My wife found a place that was nearby and cheap as well. I went to the place and was unsure as I usually have one barber who I visit all the time. However, the owner took at least one hour cutting my hair and trimming my beard. He was so careful and meticulous that I was surprised I got such a great service for such a low price. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else.

JJ listens to what I want to see and he delivers every time. The price is right and the business is open every day as of now. Best deal in town and the best barber I have found. Parking on the street near the front door had never been a problem.

This is my first review ever ... and I have to say that I found a little "golden nugget" in Vegas. I stumbled across this place in March over the Las Vegas 7's rugby weekend and I have to say that I will make it an annual tradition to get my hair cut there. My mate and I both got cuts and we more than satisfied with the hair cut, atmosphere and the fact that the owner did the cut himself was an added bonus. The only thing I ask is that you don't receive a hair cut in March of 2018 during the next Vegas 7's rugby so I can have the store all to myself again.
