Great old school barber shop. Pricing is very good. And the finish you with a straight blade neck shave. They also offer straight blade face shaves as well.

I'm glad others have had a good experience. For me, I received the standard quick buzz with the trimmers. Asked for a scissor cut up top and 3 on the sides and didn't get that. No one was behind me, so it's frustrating some times when you get those really quick cuts that don't match what you ask for.

Extremely disappointed.. woman who cut my hair didn't even greet me when I came in. Acted as if she had better things to be doing. Went in for a hair cut and beard trim. She rushed through it and left my hair all uneven. After she supposedly fixed it she didn't even show me and rushed me to pay. She butchered my beard. Left it all in even and i left looking worse then when i came in. I had to go home and try to clean it up. It's gonna take a couple months of growth to fill back out. I wish i would have caught the woman's name but i didn't. Older woman may upper 40s. Very frustrating!! Will never go back or suggest it to anyone!!

Reed, Micki are always very friendly when walking in the door. They know you by name and make you feel welcome. I have been going to Reed's for years now and would never go anywhere else. I always leave with a great hair cut, at a low price! I would definitely would recommend a hair cut from Reed's.

Mickey - oh man. I've had about a zillion barbers and hairstylists, from $5 cuts, to $100 cuts and Mickey is my favorite. The first time I saw her, I explained a few issues I was having when styling my hair, and she explained why I was having said issues, and said she would do her best to work with them. I'm not kidding you when I say that when Mickey cuts my hair, I literally don't even need hair product. It just lays perfectly where it's supposed to. She cleans up my beard and mustache much better than I ever could with my 347 different tools I've accumulated, to do so, and I always leave with a smile on my face, feeling like a new man. As long as I live in this town, I will never go anywhere else.

Reed is not only an excellent barber, but also has excellent barbers working for him. He has great products, too, good hair products for those of us balding :), homemade soaps and oils that customers swear by, and even knives. Oh, and there's even a women's salon in the back, too!

Soon as I walked in I met Reed, the owner, and Jean the barber. They were really enthusiastic and greeted me. Jean had over 20 years of barbershop experience and it truly showed in the cut she gave me. I moved to St. Charles in 2001 and haven't been to a barbershop since then because my brother was my barber. I have to say, I'm hooked and I know I'll be back! Tip your barber since this place will give you a professional cut at a low price.
