A great baber shop tucked behind BJs Trophy on Sunshine. I was so tired of wandering around SGF and getting bad service or bad cuts. Its great to find a shop that gives great service and great hair cuts.

I have been going here since I moved to Springfield. Blows the Hudson Hawk away. These guys are super cool. The shop is like something out of a Maxim or Men's Health. great decor, complementary beverages, both non and alcohol. Some of it top top shelf. Doug and Brad are masters of their trade.

Brad never went to Barber school. He went to cosmetology school, not Barber School. He has not been a licences hair dresser for nearly as long as he advertises. A true barber does straight razor shaves, it is illegal for a beautician like brad to use an unguarded straight razor on a clients skin, just like it is not allowed for true barbers like myself to paint finger nails like they teach in cosmetology school. Brad should not call his shop a Barber shop, if he is not a REAL Barber.

It's interesting to me that the person who wrote a bad review of Dellinger's Barber Shop made no reference to actually receiving any service (good or bad) from the business. The person only stated that Brad has a cosmetology license -- which I believe requires 500 hours more training than a barber's license. It's even more interesting that "Paul Harvey" wrote an unfavorable review of Dellinger's Barber Shop the same day "she" wrote a raving review for Cooper's Clippers (which is less than a block away). This appears to be someone from another business trying to bash their competition. Seems pretty low class and unprofessional to me. Let your work speak for itself instead of making anonymous and unfounded claims on the internet. Brad has been cutting my hair for at least 19 years and he's always done a phenomenal job! He's flexible with scheduling appointments, his shop is always clean and in order, and he pays attention to little details to ensure that I'm always happy with the finished results. Regardless of what license he might have, or whether he offers hot shaves, he give great haircuts. And that's exactly what his customers want. He'll continue to get my business as long as I have any hair on my head!
