I've been going to Dave's Barber Shop for years and I have to tell you I've never been treated by a barber so well that I've been treated like family. He's a barber who doesn't see this as a job but as away of life. Along with getting the old school barber treatment your grandfather used to enjoy but with a New school twist. I will give 5 out of 5 stars and I recommend anyone who is looking for a New barber to give Dave's a try because I promise you will have to not look any farther.

I was in the Army long enough that I feel shaggy if I go 3 weeks without a haircut. Unfortunately, there are so few places to go that really know what a high and tight really is, or how to cut one. I went to all the overpriced "clips" places, but they just never got it right! So a year ago, I started looking for a real barber in my area. It took a while, but I finally found one who not only knew what a high and tight was supposed to look like, but he would even take out the straight razor to do my sides. I have never found a barber outside of Fort Stewart who takes so much pride in their work. I'm happy to say that I have found MY barber. This is the kind of man who knows you by name, and never forgets exactly how you like your cut. Go see Dave! Sit back and relax! He WILL take care of you!

If you like old school style it's your place to go. Both Dave (the owner) and Richard (the son) were working. My first time there, I walked right in and they were able to help me right away. I just needed a cleanup and Richard was able to do that in a tops of 30 minutes. A basic haircut will cost you around $17. I decided to opt out of it, but they also provide a straight shave.

Been getting my hair cut at Dave's since I was 10. I got my first job mowing their lawn. This year I took my son to Dave's for his first hair cut. Dave himself cut his hair and was great with him. It is a "cash only" business so be prepared. Fishing and hunting tails are welcome and encouraged.

Went in today after some other so called "Barber shops". Told them what happened in the past at other shops, what I wanted and they delivered above and beyond. They know hair and they know beards. This is my new permanent Barber shop. I recommend an appointment if you are on a schedule however if you were like me today and had the time, they were incredible to talk to while I waited.

If you are looking for that small barber shop feel with all the old school offerings like a strait razor shave from guys who get to know you and have been there for years, this place is for you. They are not open on Sundays or Mondays. The price is reasonable! I get a hair cut about twice a month from them. They even trim back your eyebrows. (I wonder how long my eyebrows would be since I would never think to have them trimmed, lol!)
