I spent a fair amount of time telling the young lady what I wanted. t was pretty simple, just short over the ears and blended into the top. I even told her that the #3 guard that was used over the ears the last time worked very well... While telling me all about how they are the best barber shop in town, the young lady gave me the worst haircut I have had in a very long time...It is very uneven and there is skin showing through on one side. I am now having to look for someone who can fix this mess...beware

They give a great haircut and excellent personal service. Really enjoyed it and will be back. I was impressed that they do straight shaves and used a straight razor on my neck line. They also have beer and sodas for sale while you wait. I was able to get a same day appointment and didn't wait more than a few minutes. Prices are a bit higher than the chain ($17 for a regular haircut), but $3 is worth it for a better haircut and to support a small business. Plus they gave me several coupons. I'll be back.

I get the full service of beard trim, haircut, and straight razor shave. My wife says I look the best I have ever looked after my appointment with Clean Cut Barbershop. Another plus, you can enjoy a beer while getting your haircut. You can't get cold beer and warm towels at the economy haircut chains. Every man should at least once in their life get a professional haircut and a straight razor shave, just to experience the service. I get my hair cut here every 2-3 weeks and will continue to do so. They provide quality service and great cuts. They offer your choice of stylist however I find that they 're all equally talented. They accept appointments and the only time I have ever had to wait was because others had made an appointment and I had not. I recommend weekday mornings or mid afternoon for the quickest cut. Their prices are reasonable and comparable to their competitors in the area. They offer hair cuts & shampoo as well as beard trimming. Your first hair cut comes with a complimentary shampoo and hot towel service. They have created a comfortable atmosphere that is clean and simple. They do offer kids haircuts and they have an "entertainment" area with a tv. Local artwork is displayed and arrangements can be made for purchasing.

This has turned into to my regular place for a haircut. Fantastic service in addition to being on the south side of town helps tremendously for me. Definitely would recommend of taking advantage of online appointments as sometimes as a walk in waits can be a bit longer on some days. Finally cost is totally worth it!

This is a real barbershop with some of the best looking ladies with precision cutting skills. It may be in your best interest to call ahead. As a walk in, your wait in line could be extended. There were several employees cutting hair, high volume of customers speaks for itself. Great service!

first try going there. walked in. worker asked if i had an appointment. wasn't friendly or welcoming. didn't greet me at all. didn't really look at me at all at first. she said i think our first appt is at 3:30. It was about 1pm. She said hold on and i'll make sure... then looked it up. Yep, first one is at 3:30pm. Do you want it? (hastily, again not a friendly or giving a sh!+ tone in her voice). Nope, I said, thank you. She didn't even try to offer waiting to get me squeezed in as some others reviewers have reported happened to them. I wasn't impressed, especially for a $20 cut... So i went to Gr#$+Cuts down the road and was welcomed on entering. they did ask about checking in but they were like that's fine. It'll be about 15 mins. Was about 5 minutes. Then I got this guy named Terry who was super nice, did a great job cutting my hair, and rinsed my hair out for free. $15 for the cut. $18 with gratuity... AND STILL $2 less than Clean Cut! Who needs 'em!?

Jodi gave me such a good haircut that on my way out, one guy started hitting on me, and until then he wasn't even gay. Then I sent a photo to my girlfriend (she normally prefers my hair shaggy), and she demanded that I go straight home, and not make eye contact with any women. When I got home, I was quite spoiled, but then as I slept, she took my beard trimmer and chopped up my hair because she didn't want any other women to see my hair looking that good. So my only complaint is maybe the haircut was a little too good. (Also, Clean Cuts offers free neck clean-ups between haircuts, so maybe they'll fix some of the damage my girlfriend did.) I tried this place because they were open Saturday afternoon unlike my usual barber. Now they're going to be my usual barber. Pros: Friendliness from staff is superb. Haircut was better than usual and included straight razor neckline and eyebrow trim. Free shampoo and conditioner with a hot towel on your face. Left without the itchy post-haircut feeling. One clean-up free between haircuts. Cons: Possible unwanted sexual attention with your new haircut. Minor: my "cape" didn't cover my feet, and I did have a lot of hair in my shoes when I got home.

Great haircut. The woman who cut mine (don't remember her name) was very kind and informed about hair products and care. Free hot towels and shampoo/condition was awesome, too, and the price was extremely reasonable. Not to mention a free drink with a haircut! Got my haircut at Clean Cut for the first time as soon as I moved to Columbia, and I was not disappointed.

My first visit to Clean Cuts was today as a walk-in, and they were able to get to me in only 20 minutes. The staff was friendly, enthusiastic and concise concerning their options and pricing. The environment was clean, comfortable and bright. Jennifer cut my hair, trimmed this ratty goatee I'm brewing, and shaved the rest of the chin and back of neck etc. She was very patient with my vague "do whatever you want just make it low maintenance" and asked about styling preferences and cut options around ears, height etc. She evidently threw in the partial shave for free, else they charge the same 20$ as the haircut just for that (it's an actual straight edge razor old school). The beard trim was an extra 10$ and overall a good value I feel. Another positive was the coupons they gave me for 5$ off the next visit plus a free beverage which I didn't even realize was a thing. Also a discount on hair products. So other then the surprising cost of a full shave, I'd recommend it and will definitely be returning.

By far the best customer service I have ever experienced. Dj, the owner cut my hair. She introduced herself as soon as I walked in and asked me what I wanted. I asked for what I usually get anywhere I go and she delivered what I wanted. I was offered a complimentary beer for my first time there, but declined because it was too early to drink (for me.) ha ha. She made small talk with me, but did not talk my ear off like most barbers do which was refreshing. I highly recommend Clean Cuts for anyone who is tired of their sub par barber shop or bad customer service. Very clean, professional, affordable, and hospitable! Good with kids, too!!

I’ve been going to the barber shop for about a year and have been pleased for the most part. Today my son and I went in to get a haircut. I typically go on Tuesdays and this was the first time going on a Monday. We walked up to the counter around 10:30 am. This girl come up to the counter and rather loudly said 12:20. I had no idea what she was talking about. Then she screeched 12:20 again and then very nastily said the first available time is 12:20. No what can I help you with, no hi how are you just screeching 12:20. Mind you there were 5 employees and 3 people getting a haircut. The last two haircuts I was the only client in the place and now I’m getting why. I was so off put by how rude she was that I won’t be back. Lots of competition that will take my money and not be rude.

First of all I'm happy that they were still open. Most places close at 5pm which isn't ideal if you work a 9-5. When I walked in the place was very welcoming. The lighting and overall atmosphere was comforting. DJ the owner was quick to get me situated. I thought it was weird that she asked for my D.O.B but then I realized that they serverd beer which was nice. She even recommended to me a great porter which was brewed by logboat which brew some of my local favorites, so I had to get one. The haircut was great! I told her to work her magic and she did a fantastic job. I was also impressed that she used a razor blade to clean up the back. It was also great that the products that they sell there are made by Veterans. She also knew right away from my clothing that I work for veterans united and said we get a discount! I will definitely be getting my haircuts here from now on. Thank you for the wonderful service!

AWESOME, AWESOME place! If I could give more stars I would. The place is in a great spot, the inside set up is perfect with a TV to watch while you wait and extremely comfortable chairs when you get your haircut. All the stylists are very sociable and nice, taking extra good care of every customer making sure everything came out to their liking and if there is any more altering that needs to be done to the haircut. They even offer straight razor facial shaves, with a complimentary neck line up with the straight razor for the closest and cleanest line up out there. The co-owner Stephanie and her partner have set up a great place and offer even better prices! Highly recommend, especially Stephanie, she used to be the manager at sports clips off forum a little over a year ago before she left to open her WAY BETTER business, since about a year ago I have been trying to hunt her down because she is that good, finally found her and just wanted to give her a shout out in case some of her other customers from sports clips are looking for her like I was.
