Randy's shop is by far the best haircut I have found since moving to St. Louis. Pricing is reasonable at about $17. This is a one man shop and there can be a wait at times so be prepared. If you do wait you will be treated to an old style hair cut that looks sharp and makes you feel great.

Good haircuts when Randy is there. This is the second time I've gone there and he's closed early. No note, nothing. I don't live in the area and go out of my way to get to his shop. When hrs are to 5:30, you should be there to 5:30, I was there at 4:15. Time to look for another barber.

So, i came here by recommendation from another barber. The reason this gets 2 stars, is because randy seemed like a pretty good guy and personality is allot to me. When i visited this place, there was hair in piles on the floor and im a really clean person, so i didn't fancy that. However, when he finished my haircut i had long hairs all over my head (I have a buzz cut) and i asked him to fix it..he did...in that spot. Upon getting home, i seen that i had long hairs all over my head and i had to personally buzz my own head. So i paid 20 bucks to just eventually do it myself.

You know when you need a haircut on vacation and try to pick a barber hoping you won't walk out and have to start wearing a hat to cover the botched haircut? This shop was my pick and he did a great job. So have no worries coming here. I highly recommend this barber and would return regularly if I lived there. His dog is great and well trained and a fun addition to the shop. Good conversationalist. He free handed my flattop and it was precise. Excellent barber, can't say enough good things. Pick his shop and don't worry- your cut will be great.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in. There were about 5 guys waiting ahead of me and only one barber works here. The dog sleeping in a chair made me feel like it was a good place though, so I sat down to see how things went. I couldn't believe how fast he was getting people in the chair and out the door while still doing a great job on their hair. The price can't be beat either. Cash only though

Very nice haircut, barber was easy to talk to and did a great job. I'll admit I haven't got a haircut from a barber in a long time so I can't really compare it to other places, but I was happy with my hair. Two warnings, he does not take credit cards (only cash or check) and he didn't wash my hair after it was done. Admittedly my hair was rather short and I didn't see if he offered the service. Overall, a great experience.

Randy is a great guy. Every time I go there, there are always a few people waiting to get a haircut; good service gets a lot of loyal customers. I have had a few 40$+ haircuts but they were never anything special. For 15$ at Big Bend Barber shop you get a fantastic cut, a straight razor to the back of the neck, and you leave with a smile. What more can you want?
