Great guy, great barber! Laid back environment. Fast and friendly service with great conversation. Will definitely be my only barber from now on. Cash only, but well worth it. Saturday's are pretty full for him, so try to get there in the middle of the week to help him out.

New to Starkville attending MSU and was scared to find a new barber. I can't afford to drive 3 hours for a haircut everytime. Was looking on Google and found Tyrone.Very polite and well mannered. He really made me feel at home and welcomed to his shop. I got in the chair and we just started talking and we were just having a good time then the haircut was done. It only felt like a minute passed. Great atmosphere, Tyrone's a great person, and My haircut was perfect and when I checked my watch it was only about 10 minutes. 10/10 service and my new go to!

Response to Tyrone's latest comment (see attached screenshot) ********** Tyrone insists that he never met me, and that he doesn't know who I am. I was literally in your shop on May 22nd at 9:30 am. To insinuate that I am liar is ridiculous. I came to your shop because the pictures of your previous work looked awesome, but the cut you gave me was pretty sub par by anyones standards. *********** Original Review: Came in this morning around 9:30 am excited for a haircut. Asked for a beard trim, and a high fade, walked out with this mess. See attached photos. First 2 are the hair cut I got from Tyrone. The third photo is the one I showed Tyrone for reference for the cut I wanted (an actual hair cut I've had). On top of that, I gave him some pretty good directions of what I would like my hair to look like and what I didn't want it to look like. As soon as he turned me to the mirror to show me my finished hair cut, I immediatley knew that I didn't want Tyrone's hands to ever touch my hair again. I didn't trust Tyrone to even attempt to fix my hair. Tyrone was also pretty rough with his trimmers as you can see from the square he carved into me. The attached photos were taken 10 hours after the hair cut. It will probably be a couple of days before those marks disappear. He would repeatedly bang the clippers off of my head. I just feel really duped for putting my trust in what I thought was a professional. I don't even know where to begin to even style my hair. I would not suggest this barbershop.

I go to Tyrone because my boys absolutely love getting their hair done by him! His attention to detail and patience with my boys is unlike most. Tyrone took the time to make sure he knew exactly what my boys wanted & delivered. Prices are extremely fair, and at the same time the talent out measures your average barber shop! I would definitely recommend to anyone! I love this place sooo much. He is the best in town. Short waits, walk ins, and appointments. I will be going back!! Great environment for the kids, Good music & Good vibes. Definitely has a flavor to it that makes it unique. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a barber with substance!!!
