After leaving the military, it's been hard to find a good barber. I told Dean the look I wanted and he delivered. He also did a very nice job trimming my beard. I will definitely be going back here.

Dean is a great barber and the conversations are a blast. I've been going to Dean since he started in Lindstrom. He is also great with our twin boys, they have been seeing Dean for haircuts since they were 1 year old and they just love going to see him. Since the first time he cut their hair, he was very patient and teaching with them, letting them handle all the different buzzers and brushes, showing them how to operate the chairs and such. We wish Dean did babysitting as well! Great with the kids and gives a fine haircut and the straight edge face shave is such a treat come spring when it's time to get rid of the winter beard!

I dont even know the barbers name but he is the worst I have met here. I opened the door, before he could even determine what I was in there for, he yelled how he doesn't do black people hair. My 2 year old is mixed with black and white. He has very fine curly hair that any salon professional can handle. His hair is not kinky. It's just fine and curly, just like any curly hair. For him to tell like that, it's quite shocking. He is very rude, unapproachable, and quite honestly such a terrible businessman. Nobody should go there at all.

I don't know where to start. This man has a serious attitude problem and thinks it's ok to talk down to my 2 year old son and tell me how to parent and control him. he's a disgrace and would never ever come back here. Do not take your children to him! he's a horrible man!

Lakes Barber Shop is the real deal, old school establishment with big steel and chrome chairs, a barber who's equally skilled with a clipper or scissors and licensed as an actual barber so a hot foamy neck shave is standard with every haircut. Dean has decades of experience, does outstanding classic fades and flat tops to contemporary cuts and, in my case, strong options for receding hairlines... He's worked as a colorist on women's hair and is great with kids and special requests. I've been going there over a year and won't go anywhere else. His waiting area has piles of magazines, a tv and good conversation. Reasonably priced, friendly laid back environment. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the best hair cutting experiences I've had. I visited Lakes Barber Shop after numerous suggestions in my search for a new barber and Dean did not disappoint! On my very first visit he cut my hair how I wanted it, had great conversation, and towards the end, my head was wrapped in a hot towel with a hot foamy shave to clean up the back of my neck.

Dean is great. His work is always spot on, and I never leave the place dissatisfied. The hot towel and straight razor on the neck are incredible, and I'm always greeted with friendly service when I come here. If you are looking for a well done haircut with great company, dean is your guy.

Came here with my grandson and the attitude from the barber was so bad we actually walked out. Liam is 2 years old and the barber told him off twice before we left and he wasn't even naughty. I wouldn't recommend you bringing your kids here ! Have 1 star because you can't give 0.
