Horrible barbers! Contemplated even waiting after seeing some of their clients leaving the chairs. Despite that, I really needed a haircut so I stayed. I checked in at about 2pm. Saw clients come and go for about an hour. Assumed some were appointments so I didn’t pay much attention. Later I realized some were new people who obviously hadn’t been there before and they still got cut before I was even acknowledged. I picked the “next available barber” choice assuming it would be the fastest option. After about an hour and a half of seeing people come and go, I decided to leave. Not even a “hello” or “have you been helped”. I knew it was a bad idea and terrible vibe from the get-go. Terrible customer service, actually, non-existent in my case. Barbers weren’t that good either but I guess that’s subjective. I’m not really mad but I just thought I’d let future customers be aware before they go there and waste their time like I did.

Worst service ever, will never go again! After an hour in your shop my son says he hates his haircut. I would have been fine with the time and even the price, both were excessive, but the end result was a bad haircut, and bad service. The barber just kept cutting and it was not getting any better so we had to walk away... luckily his hair grows fast.

Made an 12:30 got here a minute late. The guy who checked us in (bobby) was great and told his co worker Allan to help us with the service. And when I look over to match the face with the name he was shaking his head hard, Saying no. Bobby told Allan " you will do it" and direct us to sit and wait for Allan to finish his client. We got the vibe that they did not want us there. I would have gave 1 star if it was not for JAMES who came back from brake and called my son's name. He was super happy to help!! Thank god. He made my son who freaks out at barbershop super calm.

As a first time visitor, I was very pleased with the check in process. I waited about 30 mins before being called. Haircut was done by Jay. She was very meticulous, I felt catered to. She asked for my approval before she did anything with me and she was very gentle. She has a very chill, down-to-earth vibe, makes an excellent conversation partner (I could talk with her all day) and..she smells heavenly!

I called to make an appointment and was told to walk in. I asked how long the wait would be and was told one hour. After waiting 2 hours I asked where my name was on the list and was told there was 10 or 11 in front of me. Who is running this place why when I checked in was I not given an actual count of people in front of me. Never had the chance to get a cut and won't be back

I often pass this place making my rounds at Mall of America. I decided to get my haircut here and met Dominic. He took his time to make sure my hair was precise. I never have liked any of my previous haircuts before. This was the best decision I've ever made. I would recommend Dominic to anyone. He cuts my hair better every time. It's a great place but there is always lot of people waiting and there are no barbers. Especially weekends. They need to have more barbers. It's a big, lot of people go into that place. I watched people turn away.

I am a female with a short cut, like a faux hawk and looking for someone that can do a fade but also work with scissors on the top. I can't say I know if anyone here can do that. I read reviews and this place had a high overall rating. I called ahead of time to see if there would be room for a walk-in and was assured yes. I sat for 20 minutes, was not greeted by anyone and just left because it didn't look like anyone was going to be available. Lack of customer service is common among barber shops from what I'm finding. Barbers have their usual clients and aren't taught customer service, when someone walks in they look and if they don't know you they keep working. A simple smile, hello, check in here, etc. goes a long way. My suggestion: treat your potential customers' time like it was your own and work like you have no clients. If you're reading this trying to find a place to go and you want your time to be respected and a business that greets you when you walk in, keep searching.

I am a client passing through Minneapolis, I was hesitant in getting a haircut at a mall barbershop as barbershops at a mall have a negative rating. I was in desperate need of a haircut and caved in. I had the experience of getting a haircut by a gentlemen by the name of, Alex. Alex Does not know how to perform a basic fade. He is very heavy handed on the clippers. I have several cuts to prove it. I asked for a high fade and and a little of the top. At no point in time did I ask for a line up, nor did Alex ask if I wanted one. Alex came inches away from having my widows peak removed from my forehead. Common curtosey, ask for a lineup. Please let the record show, I used an image of what I wanted my hair to look like, what I got in return was so far from the image. Do. Not. Book. Alex. The most disappointing part of this experience was not the haircut, it was the look of embarrassment I receive from other the other barbers. They all knew I walked away from that shop with a terrible haircut, but said nothing. Best of luck Alex.

I went in for Michael and gave him a simple task for a undercut I ever showed a picture of me in the past with it and he could follow it he cut it way too short and was on his phone during my haircut wasn’t even talking to me by far the worst barber I’ve ever had

So glad I finally took my son in for a hair cut. All the barber's were busy. We were greeted immediately. Check in on the computer was easy and kept the barber's focused on their customers. Did a walk in asked if everyone knew how to cut he said yeah they wouldn't be here if they didn't I got the worst haircut nothing was even had to ask for a line up but that was crooked and didn't even taper the back or line it up like I asked but because who I am I tipped and left and didn't cause a scene for the simple fact my hair will grow back but most definitely not going back there

Our barber Dominic always makes him feel comfortable and always takes his time on my sons hair. He also comes up with some crazy designs my son loves them! So this is in.the mall of America on the 3rd level. I go to this place when I cant make it. Downtown to .get a cut from my regular barber ...I know dont you judge me for having a side piece barber. I usually go to Bobby very good barber I recommend him. But on this day he was on vacation so I had a black guy named dominic. I asked him how long he been there and he joked but wouldn't say. He then proceeded to ask me could he stop for a second to help out some new barbers that were having some issues. I said sure go ahead ...he did this several times. At the end of the haircut he said look man thanks for letting me help those guys I appreciate it.. He then told the lady at the front I only had to pay 15 bucks for what normally cost me about 42. I later found out he was the owner. This was what customer service should look like. I was very pleased with the cut and service ...great job all around guys.

First off, I'd give Final Cut (MOA) 10/10. I've had my hair cut at this shop approximately 15 times. PHASY & JAMES are MASTER BARBERS who can cut any hair type to any style desired. I get a bald fade (high) with a straight razor side part on top. These gentlemen have attention to detail like nothing I've seen before, lead by example, know you by name, and are true professionals at the highest of levels. I promise you that when you leave you will feel and look like a million dollars. Every time I've entered this shop, everyone working has been respectful and welcoming. They don't just treat you as a customer, but rather like family. When you go shopping afterwards and strangers come up to you and say "nice haircut, where did you have it cut" that sums up how great the Master Barbers at this shop truly are. Lastly, the owner Dominic is a great guy who has provided us all wanting a superior quality haircut with the best barber shop and atmosphere in the Twin Cities. If you want the best haircut that you've ever had, stop by and see PHASY or JAMES.

Went in there for the first time because I didn't want to travel far to my usual spot. So I took a chance. Bobby was my barber, he hooked me up. Would've gave it 5 stars, but it's just a little more than what I usually pay. But for the convenience, it was worth it. I'll definitely go back. One of the most efficient cuts I’ve ever had. Just asked for a zero all around and a touch up on my beard. The guy, Le’Corey, was very efficient and paid close attention to detail. Was just expecting a 0 all around, but he used this thing that was just as good as a shave. Normally I have to worry about the bareber leaving a few spots a bit thicker, but not this time. Also, I asked him to take a little off on my beard and to be intuitive with the rest - I wasn’t disappointed.

Called twice to book an appointment, I was told to call back in 20 minutes both times. 4 hours later after getting nowhere by phone I walked in and they were booked out for two hours, when I asked for other options I was given the ‘art of shaving for about 165 dollars’ they dident even mention the other stores in the mall. I don’t care how good your barbers are, if they treat me like this I don’t want to be their patron. Period.

I went in for a simple taper. After 15 minutes I was charged $22. I asked the barber to hold the mirror, and didn’t get the opportunity. I got home to find a bald spot in the back of my head. Around my ears there were inch long pieces of hair that weren’t cut. I don’t know how a “professional” would charge for such shotty work. I could’ve cut my own hair faster for less money and a better result.
