I’ve come to Dick’s for much of my life and always come away pleased with the haircuts I’ve received. I highly recommend Gary, who takes time to get to know his customers, even if they are new. He even draws the customer’s profile with a description of these preferred cut for his own reference when they return. He’s a uniquely dedicated and skilled barber. Finally, at $30 for a cut, the price is a bit steep, but I reckon they’re worth the cost.

Exceptional service - called in and they were able to get me in same afternoon on super short notice. Everyone was warm and friendly, and Gary did a phenomenal job with my hair. When I told him I was visiting from out of town but typically struggled to tell barbers exactly what I wanted, he sketched my head and gave me a pocket guide to present the next barber who cuts my hair. He went above and beyond, and if I could give him and this shop 6 stars I would. Reasonable pricing for a haircut + beard trim as well, and considering the quality of the cut and service I could have paid more and still been more than happy. Highly recommended.

VERY inconsistent. I've gone to just about every guy here and I believe they are all different style barbers from one another. I certainly have favorites, but even then something as simple as a 2 on the sides and 3.5 on top can come out looking like a lopsided sheep. You never know what you're gonna get at Dick's. A bit pricy as well... $20-25 for 10 minutes!

Worst hair cut ever!! I asked for a 1 on the side and the largest clipper he had on top and tappered on the back. The dude didn't even had the adapters for the different sizes. He did it everything by eye. At the end I had like a 3 on top. He didn't tappared the back, and I asked for thin sideburns. He gave me squared sideburns. I'm all uneven and had to pay $25. If you don't have the equipment or don't know how to do it say it!!!

Payed $30 for a 15-minute cut where Long pretty much did the opposite of what I asked. I have a bald spot on my head, but told him to cut like it wasn't there, but he left the hair around is uneven and long in an attempt to cover it up. Asked for hair to be a lot shorter than he left it and I had to ask him to make it shorter twice before giving up and leaving with a longer length than I wanted.

BAAA! I went in for a beard trim and specifically stated to the barber I wanted just a trim and to keep all of the length. I got sheared like a sheep! I'm very upset that the barber chopped my beard off. I could have done that at home if that is what I wanted to do. I wanted it cleaned up so it looked nice not removed. I tried calling the shop three times prior to writing this review, they never answered. I was specific with the barber and am very dissapointed. My four year old can follow directions better. Very poor quality at best. I picked this place becuse I thought they could handle the task better than a sports clips type shop, huge mistake. Maybe this will help keep others from making the same one.

I've been to Dick's only one time. Hair was cut by Dick and he did a great job, cool old school type place for guys. It only took about 15-20 minutes tops, shaved my neck with a straight blade and it cheaper than the girl I used to go to. This is my new spot

Walked in and saw only one woman, and she was working the register and taking appointments - so far, so good. When it was my turn, I sat down and the guy asked what I'd like. I told him to tighten up the back and sides, then leave enough on top to style a bit. Based off looking at my hair, he knew EXACTLY what I wanted. Now here's the important part: he used a buzzer, a comb, and a pair of scissors. No "number 3 clipper attachments," no guessing, no stupid questions. These guys are TRUE barbers and they cut men's hair. If you're a man and you have hair, get it cut at Dick's. A bit more expensive than most (around $25), but certainly worth it. The only thing that would make it like the barber shop I went to as a boy would be if they had the stray Playboy magazine on the end table in the waiting area.

Started going here May2016 @$25 a visit. Thought to myself, "I can amortize the expense." Within 5 months they raised their price $3... and for less than 10 minutes in the chair! Simply, 8 on top 6 on the sides. A one time price increase of %12 is not acceptable in a service based industry. I will not be going back.

Even though the Gophers softball team was on, and he was supporting, he didn't let that distract him from being incredibly professional. Highly recommend

Was charged $30 before tip for a beard trim & a zero on top (which was still patchy after I left). I asked to trim the curly sides of my beard, some of my neck line & leave the bottom. Within seconds, he had already dropped several inches off the bottom I asked him to shorten the sides to compensate & he continued to shorten the entire beard as if he did not know how to blend without making everything one length . Instead of leaving the length of my beard & cleaning up ny neckline, he essentially gave me a one length beard that extended down past my chin on to my neck. Very dissatisfied Do not go here for a beard trim.
