I've had my hair cut since Madie first started and wouldn't go to anybody else. Her professionalism is off the chart, and her hair cuts are always done with no issues. Only thing I can say now is take a trip down to A1 to see Madie.

I'm really disappointed. I text pictures and asked if the person that would be cutting my sons hair could "confidently" make that specific cut and fade and they said yes. When we got there, I asked again and got the same answer so I felt good. My son wanted an eagle feather, and after 1.5 hrs of him sitting in the chair, his hair was butchered. It doesnt look anything like a feather at all or even similar to the pics that I sent! And she didn't even spark up a conversation with him while he sat in her chair for almost 2 hours! He doesnt want to go to school and I'm not even sure if his hair can be fixed at this point without having to wait a couple weeks for it to grow out. This was our first time going here for a design and after reading all of the reviews we were def let down, big time! I wish I could show pics of the butchered cut he got and the pictures of what he wanted so you all could see for youselves.

A1 cuts is a great shop to go if you want professional service from one of the best barbers in Minnesota. I went there after my son decided to cut his hair with scissors, and create a mohawk. We went to A1 cuts and barber was able to fix his hair. The prices are great and the environment is warm and welcoming!!! I would definitely recommend anyone go to Imade's shop, and experience the greatness. Going to A1 cuts, is just like eating A1 sauce on that juicy steak!!

I did not get my hair cut the way I asked. She said she understood. Then she got scissor happy. I ask for my hair to be cut like the Heart pic, with the design if the lady in pink. That's not what I got. I had to go to another shop to fix it.. and now I gotta wait for my hair to grow back.

I went in just going to get a normal cut trying to try a new Barber and I looked at the reviews so I figured everything would be great so I go and get my haircut the master Barber spent 15 minutes on my haircut and pushed my linein back didnt even really taper my hair as asked and it cant wven be fixed how far back it was pushed! Dont go here stay away!!

Instead of writing a typical review, I figured I’d just tell you about my experience. So my barber of 2 years ended up moving out of town. Anybody that’s serious about your image knows you can’t allow just anybody to cut your hair. After a week or so of looking and asking around, I was getting tired of the whole “hostage” look I had going on. I ended up linking with my cousin a bit later that day and noticed his fresh taper. I asked where he went and A1 Cuts was the answer. He told me he and his son went and their barber was actually a female. Yes... Female. Not saying women aren’t capable, but I hadn’t let a woman cut my hair since my mother. In fact, after the last cut she gave me, I vowed to never let a woman cut my hair again. With that said, I trusted my cousin’s judgement and decided to give it a shot. I figured I couldn’t look much worse than I was looking already. With all this said, I’ve been going to A1 Cuts faithfully for about a year now. The shop is well maintained, barbers are cleanly and professional. Despite the location, the shop actually does a good job of providing a nice calming atmosphere and is family friendly. I strongly suggest it to anyone seeking a new look. Cuts, dyes, dreads/braids ect. They’ll get you together! Who knows... you may even catch me in there one day! Hope I could help! ✌

I can not stand A 1 cuts. They are very inexperienced and they don't listen to what you want. Terrible experience her absolutely terrible. I would never recommend.
