Jeff is an artist. This was my first barbershop experience, and I was not disappointed. I'm very particular about my hair, and Jeff knew exactly what to do. His shop is about 35 minutes away, but I have no plans on ever seeing anybody else. I'd give him 10 stars if it was possible. Great price, even better company. Highly recommend.

I have known Jeff for many years and have had the pleasure of his services several times. He is completely professional and cares a great deal about his clients and their needs and desires. He will deliver a spot on cut each and every time and offers some amenities that are not found in many barber shops anymore, including hot towel treatments and eyebrow trimming etc. He maintains an outstanding supply of hair care products and will advise one as to the proper uses and benefits. He will listen carefully to one's wishes etc and maintains a record of each and every client The shop is impeccably clean and maintained. I read the reviews about Jeff and decided to give him a try. WOW! He is absolutely great, a very nice guy to talk to, and you can tell he takes pride in his craft. First off, let me start off by saying I am extremely picky about my hair cut and have gone to several other places prior who messed up my hair pretty bad. Like all the reviews have stated, Jeff asked me a lot of good questions to understand what I was looking for. I was very impressed with his approach as no other place took the time like he does to determine what I was looking for. Once I filled him in he simply nailed it! He cut and blended everything perfectly the way I wanted and in addition, he made some suggestions along the way that made the cut even better. Jeff took notes for the next time around (which is great so I know I will get the same cut each time without worry). His prices are very reasonable. I have found my new barber! Thanks a million Jeff!

Thank god for Google reviews lol.. So i Just moved down here from Vermont a week ago and needed a haircut. both me and my brother from another mother had been seeing the same guy for over 10 years so we were a bit nervous about getting a new barber shop but i googled it and found this one, i figured what the hell people say hes awesome let go check him out, and boy are we glad we did, i normally get a low fade, and my buddy a medium fade skin tight. The whole time Jeff keep showing me my hair and always used 1 size bigger this way as he says he can always go lower but he cant put it back on ya, im glad he did this cause i wasnt as low as i expected and more what he called a slight fade, and once he figures out how you like your hair he writes down the details on a card so when you go back he knows how you like your hair cut. He was super friendly and just an overall great Barber, im very glad i listened to the reviews cause i found my new Barber alot easier than i was expecting.

such a great experience. Jeff knows how to cut a head of hair, and a beard or in my case. He asks questions about your preferences and always let's you keep control of your vision of your hairstyle. Jeff also sells eCig products, so I also managed to pick up a protank II at a great bargain. check Jeff out, you won't regret it. The only downside is that it's cash only. no biggie.

After years of trying to find a barbershop that could give me the perfect haircut, I've found it at Hairsmyth. I must have tried every barbershop and salon within 25 miles of Worcester and for some reason I never stumbled onto Hairsmyth until just today, but damn am I glad I did. Walking in for the first time, the shop itself is awesome. A myriad of sports memorabilia adorns the walls, ample chairs for waiting, and even the old-style ornate leather barber chairs (little small for a big dude like myself, but still comfortable nonetheless). Jeff greeted me as I walked in like we'd known each other for years, which brings me to my favorite thing about Hairsmyth: the service is second to none. Whenever I've gone to another hair cutting place, sure everyone was friendly (most of the time), but there was always a detached feeling. At Hairsmyth, Jeff will go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. I'll admit I get nervous in social situations, so just the thought of trying to articulate what kind of hair style I've been chasing for years is nearly herculean, but Jeff took every ounce of difficulty out of it. I had dropped a couple hair style terms I had read about, and Jeff sat right down to google it himself so he could give me the exact cut I was looking for. After that, we sat down and he walked me through each step of what he was doing so that I could be a better informed client and would feel more comfortable as the cut went on. Once he got partway through, and finished filling out my client card (a helpful little index card to help Jeff make the same cuts during a customer's next visit) it felt like a few mere seconds had passed and he was already finished. In just a few short minutes, Jeff had given me THE BEST haircut I have ever gotten in my entire life. This is not exaggeration, not dramatic flair, I'm not kidding: The. Best. Haircut. EVER. If I was forced at gunpoint to try to come up with a complaint about Hairsmyth, it would simply be that the experience didn't last long enough (which is not actually a complaint at all). This was an enjoyable experience not only for the great cut I received but the atmosphere was wonderful and Jeff certainly makes you feel as comfortable as if you were family. Hairsmyth has gained a customer for life.

Every time my son is in need of a haircut, I always go to Jeff. He has an amazing personality and knows how to interact with his customers. It means so much to know that when I bring my child into his shop, I am able to trust how well the haircut will come out and that my son will leave happy. Even if there is a wait, Jeff does his best to occupy everyone in the shop and satisfy his customers. I would never want to bring my son anywhere else and I recommend using him.

Jeff has elevated the barber experience to a really professional level. He is careful to give you exactly what you want. He asks a lot of questions about preferences, takes notes using a system of cards so he can reproduce it the next time, and responds very flexibly to any changing requirements. The shop opens at 6:00 am for early risers, and Jeff is a genuinely nice guy to be around. Since discovering Hairsmyth, Jeff is the only one who touches my head!

Taught me a lot about my hair and hair cutting, which no other barber has done. Cost is very fair, but the education and his attention to detail warranted a good tip. You can tell he is originally from so-cal with accent, easy to talk to (and I have difficulty engaging with people, but felt very comfortable). I will return.
