Guy cut my kid's hair in less than 3 minutes. He did a lousy job. When I asked him if they use scissors, he simply answered that this is a fine haircut and let me go. Will not return.

I have been going there for so long. I used to go hair cuttery and stopped cuz Uyen left. Kevin is very nice, but Uyen no longer works for him. I gave them 4 stars only because of his wife. She is rude and few other employees also. I am very satisfied with Kevin; even though, he is not politically correct. He likes to talk alot, but he does a good job and genuinely cares for his clients. Keep up the good work

My last experience here wasn't all that great. The cut was uneven and the barber left too much on top. Also, the comb was completely backwards from how I typically comb my hair and how I walked in. Today was a bit better... even cut, but the comb was again backwards. Fortunately, when he combed it the right way, it looked alright. My son got his hair cut today as well, and they did a perfect job. I think it depends on who is cutting your hair. In the past, I've had great cuts, but recently with new barbers, it's been a bit more hit or miss.

avoid going to this barber shop. That barber shop is full of racist asian people who are only interested in cutting white men's hair cut or people whom they think have a load of money. They do not like blacks or mexicans which they think won't tip them. Before you leave check your hair in the mirror. I was met by an old asian lady who did not greet me but instead had a nasty attitude and got easily angry. I didn't really care about the attitude but when i got home I noticed my hair was shaved and cut like crappp. All i asked was for my sides to be shaved one size but instead the racist asian lady intentionally used the wrong clipper size one that was too small and left big dents and holes in my hair so I had to go and shave my hair really low with another barber. The asian lady had intentionally messed up my hair as it looked like my daughter had taken some clippers and tried to shave my hair, thats how bad it was. Do not go to this place, your head will be extremely messed up that you will have to shave most of it off to fix it with another barber. I couldn't call and insult them because they can barely speak english so it would be a waste of time. I didn't want to believe the bad reviews but the bad reviews are true and sadly i had to find out the terrible way. yes old asian man was sleeping when i walked in, think they live their as well. It used to be a great place but its basically a cheap place to get a cheap poor quality hair cut.

I used to go to this place a lot because of the quality they had. Unfortunately, the last several visits hasn't been great. During my recent cut, I left with a hugely uneven cut and a sloppy profile. This kind of work is unacceptable and I am sad that I will no longer be able come back here again with the quality it once had. Be careful who you have cut you, some are outstanding while some are not.

For the last several years U S Barber has been that place for me and my friends and family along with anyone else I speak with about hair places because I highly recommend them to ANYONE. I move to the East Side of town for a couple of years and still made the commute to get my hair cut and or styled at the one place I KNOW I would be happy with and enjoy the time: U. S. BARBER! They are quick and pay great attention to detail and personally I love how they keep up on the modern styles and always know how to make your hair looks its best when you leave. I always love and appreciate the experience and have even run into old school mates and coworkers that come here as well because it is Maryland's best kept secret for hair. Do yourself a favor and stop in and hop in one of the first chairs today! YOU WONT REGRET IT IF YOU DO!!

Very happy with experience! Had a horrible experience at another Barber shop in Arbutus where the clipper they used around my son's ears and neck were sliced up. The gentleman, Young, cut my son's hair perfectly. Blended cut was done nicely. Only cost $11 for a boys haircut. The people were very friendly and found this place based off google reviews and they were not wrong. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

English is not their first language but they do a great job, don't waste time and charge a reasonable fare So of you're looking for the traditional style barber shop look no further! Kevin talks way too much while he's cutting your hair. Also talked about politics to me and that's the last thing I want to talk about while you're cutting my hair. Then he started talking to another customer while he was getting his hair cut and it took him 5 minutes to shave the back of my neck when it should have taken maybe a minute. His English is very broken. He also didn't listen to me on what I wanted for my hair cut. I told him really short on sides and back and to fade it in to the top of my head. He finished and asked how it looked, I said can you take more off the sides and he did but it was like nothing. And I got frustrated at this point and just wanted to be done. If Kevin listened half as much as he talked he would be a better barber. The place is also cash only and there's no sign that tells you that so iI ha to go to the atm and pay a fee. Overall experience sucked, will not return.

The lady, I guess she owns the shop, did beard trim for me. Wait time is less as they do things quicker, yet satisfactory. Ambience is good. I am gonna stay in Catonsville for few months and this would be my go-to barber shop now.

I've been a customer for at least five years. They are friendly and welcoming, and some or all seem to be of the same family. I've only gotten a bad cut from one of the barbers, a young talkative guy (Mike? Not sure) who is quite rough and even cut my ear once.Aside from that, it's always a great cut and usually fast, too.
