Waited over an hour just for 3 people to hop in front of me.None of the barbers said anything about having future appointments until I literally sat in there for over an hour. Unorganized and unprofessional,and I've never been there so as this as my first experience was bad and I will not be going back.

Might give good haircuts but didn't like the vibe upon entering. I don't like going to a place of business(being new) and be not greeted or greeted with disturbing/irritated looks as if I am bothering the employees.

I think the store should change its name to Charm City's Barber Shop. They'll style you up no worries ! My first haircut in Baltimore. I was there this morning. The store is located downtown. They welcome you like a friend. But I think the store needs a better look on the exterior. Ask for Crystal. A charming lady and a stylist you can trust if you are not sure what to do with your hair. Baltimore needs a better reputation. I think businesses like this is the start.

Been going there since it opened, and I love it. Great selection of barbers, very roomy and the aesthetic is nice. Haircuts are a little pricey, but Jarrett is the best barber there hands down and he's worth every penny.

My son and another young man was there frist and no one would cut there hair people was just walking in came right in and they cut there hair had my son setting there for 30 minutes very bad services ..that not how you treat people .and black people wonder why we don't support them this is why...sad just sad of how we treat each other ..went right to another shop in and out ..you better no it wasn't black own.

Walking pass the barbershop in desperate need of a haircut I sat down at very close to closing.I asked if anyone could cut me.One guy looked at me and said I can cut you.I sat in the chair as I watched the sun dwell.The barber and myself were the last people to leave.Thanks for the best cut every time Anton! From L.A., CA., went and walked in just before they closed and sat there worried that I would be turned away, but they took me in after closing hours. Steep prices for what I wanted, but needed it done. I was happy to get my haircut done and done right. So overall happy regardless of the prices. Thanks Guys...By the way, love watching Pineapple Express as a movie in the waiting area.

I like this place because they are organized and I get a great haircut every time I visit here. You can schedule your haircut online and pick the person you want to cut your hair. Their site says walk-ins are welcome, but I would suggest making an appointment online at your convenience as they are frequently busy and scheduling online guarantees a haircut close to the time you specify. I don't think it particularly matters who you choose to cut your hair via their website, but if it's your first time and you're not sure I would see if Manny is available.

I've been taking my son here for roughly six months and my experience has been nothing less than phenomenal!! They have great customer service and produce great quality results. My son barber's name is Jarrett and he is great with children. My son is 5 yrs old, but he knows if he doesn't like his hair cut or the barber, and he tells me all the time he really likes his barber.....he says b/c he is nice and doesn't hurt his head, lol. I would definitely recommend Royal Razor, specifically Jarrett, to a friend or anyone looking for quality service and a satisfying finish product.

The place is very spacious and comfortable, however the prices are incredibly high. I went for a clean shave and the barber I had cut a slit in my head because he didnt have a steady hand and instead of apologizing and admitting error he lied to me and said it was a bump and afterwards charged me $38 when the price for a hot towel shave is $30. First ans last visit. Horrible experience.

Unfortunately after two visits I decided I needed to look elsewhere for a good haircut. It doesn't help that the furniture and the decor of the lobby is poorly maintained. The lobby of RR is nicely styled, but unfortunately the furniture is in bad shape. The couches are nice, but they need to be replaced with more durable furniture. I noticed the pictures frames on the wall are very dirty and dusty, and many of them don't even have pictures in them. The haircuts I got were very poor. I wish I could still go; I have to drive acorss downtown for a good haircut.

I just moved up the street on Light Street from DC. I noticed the barbershop when I was walking home from the MARC train a few weeks ago and decided to check it out. When I entered the shop I was told that they where not accepting anymore walk ins that night. I understood that and finished my walk home. After reading all the great reviews I decided to give it another try. This time they where accepting walk ins, so I set down and waited patiently for my turn. The issue is if you are going to take walk ins I think you should know who walked in first. After they took two walk ins that came in after me, I got up and left. It's time to google other barbershop in the area.

I went in to get my hair trimmed down around the sides, I had a afro-Mohawk kind of thing. While they were cleaning up the back they went upwards and cut all my hair off in the back of my head. Which left me with nothing in the back. Not only was that not what I asked for, because it was cut down to my scalp basically there was nothing I could do to fix the issue expect wear a wig until it grows back.

I am travelling from New York and visiting Baltimore for a graduation. My boyfriend wanted a hair cut. We walked in at 11:29 am. We were told to sit and wait for the next available barber. When we walked in, there were 5 barbers. After an hour, there were 4. After another hour, 2 barbers left. Each barber left with no word, claiming they had appointments. After 3 hours and no hair cut later, I am now agitated and quite frankly very disappointed. Its a Friday, have more babrbers on call if the shop is busy or at least give customers a wait time. I understand that I didn't have an appointment but this is a tad too much. I took a picture of the barbers working but Google won't let me upload the picture. I think its ridiculous that only 2 barbers are working on a Friday. The customer service here is atrocious. It's safe to say that I will never ever coming back to this barber shop. The wait is too long and even if I wanted to make this my regular barber shop, I'd rather give my money to a friendly and customer geared establishment. Please do something about your customer service!!! If I could give you 0 stars, I would.

This review if for Joe. I went about a year ago on a business trip and I needed to get my hair cut. I ran into Royal Cuts on Google. I walked in and I was impressed. It was clean and the environment was excellent. Joe was the first guy to reach out to me. Down to earth, easy going, and easy to talk to. That was the first time I met him and it felt as if I had been a regular for a while now. He was passionate about cutting my hair because it was something different from what he had been doing lately. I promised him I would write him a review on my experience, granted its almost a year later. I still use my experience at Royal Cuts as standard for great ownership and customer service experience. Thanks again Joe I'll be back in April.

I want to start off by saying I never make complaints on small buisnesses unless they really need exposure. I originally was skimming through barbershops in the Baltimore area since I had a few hours until departure. I contacted this shop they were professional on the phone. I get there no one greets when I walk in cool I set my things down anyway and charge my phone and watch the movie they had. 2 barbers get done around the same time and so I ask the first guy done “do you have time for a shape up”? “If no one else can I will but I got to handle something”. Fine no prob 2nd guy eventually did once he was asked and played cool. He just finished giving a guy in his mid 20’s a fade wasn’t impressed but I’m not a huge fan of bald on the side and hair on the top styles no matter how great the blend. He says let me go smoke a cig 2 minutes he walks in 30 seconds later no smell of nicotine what so ever and starts breezing through cut. I damn near thought I was gonna get a buck 50 he was going so fast. I didn’t bother looking hard enough cuz once the cut is done I can’t get the hair back but something dawned on me when I was in the chair the kid said “here’s a mirror take as much time as you want”. So while at the bathroom in the airport those words rang in my head I noticed hair still around the ear and no arch on my left temple between the side burns. My lineup looks like something out of Star Trek smfh LoL. Never again nor should you Bless✌

Worst haircut ever. Clippers were too dull. Pulled out more hair than it cut. No razor shave around ears or neck to clean up the look. Very disappointed and will never go back.

I Came from Cincinnati OH, for Bronycon. I felt I needed a haircut so I checked online and found this place near the Baltimore Convention Center. The haircuts are premium for the prices, and Clinton and his crew did an excellent job. I really felt great afterwards. The waiting area has Netflix and a great sound system while you wait. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments recommended. For what its worth, you can find cheaper places for a haircut, but you do get your moneys worth when you choose this place. Great job Clinton. Hope you get more good reviews!

Absolutely terrible. Expensive and cut my neck up. Took a while for the scars to go away. Cut chunks out and very uneven cut. Immediately had to get it fixed elsewhere. Barber who claimed he was the manager did not refund or do anything to make the situation better. The cut was on 10/22/18. For some reason I can not reply to your comment.

My friend went to this shop today to get a haircut and was treated extremely poorly! He is blind and was told to have someone who could see help him make an appointment on an app. This is a disgusting form of customer service.

I have attended college in Baltimore for a year now and always went back home to my local barber for a mediocre cut and long wait. I finally decided to find a Barbershop in the area and found Royal Razor. I was greeted by a chipper small dog, there was no wait, great customer service, great quality cut, and a very well designed. This is the BEST BARBERSHOP I have EVER been to! I will definitely be back.

Not recommended.! I don't know the name of that barber, but he need more training. Also, it's weird when someone asks for tip for their worst job. Paid $30 for worst haircut. I think tip is something, when someone provides their exceptional service.

This place has so much potential but the unprofessional barbers and a total disregard of basic customer service skills make this place unbearable, the website has been under construction forever, barber's that are either on vacation or no longer work for them are still listed as taking appointments. So that leads to you unknowingly booking a appointment with one person to only get there (to which you have to pay for services yet rendered), then find out the person isn't there at all, and then you fall into the abyss of walk-ins, where then the barber's attitudes turn to if I feel like getting around to you, and at the end of you up wasting hours and get a sub-par haircut from some sub-par random barber you didn't want to go to in the first place. Never will I ever spend my money here again.

This is by far the coolest barbershop I've ever been. They just opened and only have two barbers. The place is huge! I watched some TV and surfed the web while waiting on this great couch...I wanted to sleep on it. I got cut by their white barber, Joe...this guy is good and professional. Besides the look of the shop, what made the shop so unique was the diverse customer waiting. There were older white guys, young black skaters, professional suit guys, and an asian doctor...I've never been in a shop that catered to so many. The really cool thing is that every cut ends with a head massage! The barber slapped on a vibrating machine on his hands and finished the service with a minute head massage. I got more than my money's worth. It is so hard to find a barbershop these days and I've found one. I'm mos def going back!
