I wouldn’t necessarily say this is the best place in the DMV to get a haircut, that title would have to go to Fresh Fades. However, if you need a touch up or are in a pinch this is the go to place if you’re in the Potomac/ Bethesda area. Clean shop, friendly barbers, nice atmosphere.

Omg. I love this place. I was super skeptical about it’s already high rating, but had to try it. First, it’s a spotless, well-lit, well air conditioned basement barber shop. You go around the back. It feels like it should be a speakeasy, and maybe it is... but for hair. Second, this, despite being in Potomac, actually feels like a barber shop of old. Not a single feminine touch, but everyone is polite, helpful and friendly. I walked in with no appt, was seated in 90seconds and was out of there with an amazing service in 15 minutes. Mario has excellent attention to detail, but I suspect they all do.

For the price it's a pretty nice haircut, I've been going to $40-50 dollar salons for a mens haircut and honestly this place does just as good for reasonable prices. They're also pretty quick without cutting corners. Hopefully they'll become my regular barber

Looking for a decent barber near my workplace, I chanced upon Landell's listing. After reading the reviews for this place, I decided to pay them a visit and put my hairs thru the shears with these folks. The barber shop is in the back of a single family home on Falls Road. There is the obligatory barber pole on the front yard, but you have to watch out for the lane next to the property to turn in for parking, that is on the back. I missed that and had to turn around to get back in to the parking lot. The entrance is from the back and I was greeted right away by the barber who would be cutting my hair. He was a friendly person and engaged with all kind of talk related with sports (after he ascertained that I do indeed like sports). My haircut was like what I had in mind, which is hard to get! The price is good too: $16, what I pay at my local barber. Will most definitely be back!

Happened upon Landell's while at a conference in Potomac and in need of a hair cut. Honestly one of the best cuts I've had! Landell was friendly, knowledgeable and made a number of excellent suggestions which I will be following from now on. Even though it is 30 minutes from home I would very much consider making the trip for my next cut. Highly recommend Landell's to any and all looking for a great barber experience!
