✔ ...Ask for chino, i recommend it. I have known him for 4 + years, he is professional, friendly, and everytime he cuts my hair - i am always satisfied. Chino can also put some designs in your hair, he always has a creative dope design in mind when you ask him for one. I am a cashier & line server, so i need to look fresh, and have a clean cut. Chino will definitely get you right!!

The "Family" in the name of this barbershop is a misnomer. I took my two year old twin boys for a trim. The stylists demonstrated little experience with children IN GENERAL, let alone with cutting their hair. I expected a "good enough" haircut on the squirmy one, but had to continually coach the stylist to forge on and not give up when the boy showed any resistance. The other twin's cooperative behavior vanished when his stylist used clippers directly on his neck, an inappropriate tool for his age. My daughter, age 3 1/2, had a better experience, better stylist, and sufficient result. Plus, I was quoted one price on the phone and charged a higher price in the store. Going to return to the Yellow Balloon next time; although it costs more and has shorter hours, they are much better at appropriately engaging children and do not seem inconvenienced by them.

This is a great neighborhood Barber in Kentlands. After searching for over a year for a regular person to get my hair cut, I found Kathy at this location and now I go there every three weeks for consistent hair cut and beard trim (straight razor) with her. Definitely recommended if you are in Kentlands and looking for a hair cut or beard trim. If hesitant on parallel parking you can park behind in the parking lot as well (shop doors on both sides).
