Really glad i found this place. I was in a rush and my usual barber wasn't working. After a quick google search, I decided to give Jake's a try. Really good guys working there that know what they're doing. I have really thick hair with some cowlicks so i know it's a pain to style but George pulled through. Definitely going to return.

I was looking for a barber shop in mount airy and decided to go to Jakes barber shop. There were three people ahead of me but it went by really fast. Jake was very nice with great customer service! I'm pretty particular about my hair cut, but I was very satisfied with how it turned out and will definitely be back!

Jake is a true pro. He gives good advice regarding how your hair will style at different lengths and really just takes into account the broad picture. He's fast and inexpensive as well. I've been going there for a year and will continue on as long as I live in the area.

I have gone to Jake’s as often as I can over the last 2 years. He is incredibly talented, very laid back atmosphere & he knows how I like my hair done. Honestly, never had a barber be able to get my hair just right like he does. Very quick & efficient, best prices around too!

Expensive for no reason. Messed up with cut and still charged full price and gave look as if he expected tip. Wasn't horrible but to charge double of that of market standard after error annoyed me.
