Yeah, this is a fantastic place! Johnny did amazing on my cut! He constantly made sure I was comfortable. He also did a little dance because of the movie that was on (it was House Party, and that definitely added points for me). I just moved to Annapolis from Texas and one of my worries was finding a barber. I know I will definitely be going back here.

I almost feel like a review for this location is unnecessary. What others have said is correct. This is a great place to get your haircut and is well worth the wait. Very great cut especially considering the price. You can't go wrong with any of the barbers there.

Johny is the best barber iv ever had cut my hair. I drive from the Easteen shore over here because the cut an atmosphere is that worth it!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYBODY!!!

I'm going to start off by saying that I'm super picky about my hair. I'm a female police officer who gets a male haircut, and not many people know how to fade properly and shave in a hard part. I jumped around to six different barber shops before I found George's!! I honestly found George's by googling one day, and reading the comments and reviews. (Which I never wasted time doing before.) It's a privilege to be a 'George's Regular' now, and finally post my own 5-star review!! If you're a male or a female who gets male haircuts like me, your man is JOHNNY!!! He's great at everything he does, but I can only speak on what I know for fact that he's done on me. The first time I walked in there, I didn't know who Johnny was. All that I knew is that everybody was giving him five stars and raving about him. When I walked in, he was dealing with a terrible two year old, and the skill and patience that I firsthand witnessed him give to that little boy, including wiping his snotty nose in between cuts, was unbelievable to watch. I knew that if he could do such an outstanding haircut on that flailing child, (who afterwards looked like he could be in a child model magazine) then I had 100% faith that he could do what I needed him to. And he delivered! Hands down the best barber I've ever had cut my hair. He makes you feel at home like you're part of the family, constantly checks on you to make sure his blades aren't dull and that you're as comfortable as possible. He's someone that loves taking critique, as far as you wanting him to hit over something again and make it a little bit shorter or a little bit tighter, he'll do it without hesitation and with a smile on his face. People stop in just to say hi to him who aren't even getting a haircut that day. He's amazing all around. And KIM, is the female version of Johnny! She's also done my hair before and is absolutely phenomenal!! And to have them both in one location is such a blessing to George's. They both have a little OCD, and for someone else who has it like myself, that's exactly how you want your Barber to be! If you want a great haircut at a reasonable price and a cozy, neighborhood feel, then you need to check out George's. I was looking for a legit barber to get a haircut before flying out of town, stumbled upon George's and was very pleasantly surprised. Kim gave me a great cut, despite my inability to explain to her what I was looking for. There was a bit of a wait when I walked in, so I watched several people get haircuts and both barbers were very skilled and super friendly. It seemed like both were on first name basis's with at least half the clientele present while I was there. If I am ever back in the Baltimore area for business, I am definitely going back to George's for a haircut.

Found this to be one of the best places to get a men's haircut around here. The guys know their stuff, get it done quickly and the price is good for the area. It's also nice to go to a more traditional barber shop, George has some interesting stories and mementos hanging around.
