I have a very particular style that I like. I used to get my hair cut in Jessup. But since moving, I wanted to find someone else who can replicate the awesome cuts I used to get. I got my razor fade from Becca and I really think she surpassed what I expected. A nice job well done. I'll definitely be coming back. Also, I love the fact that this Barbershop stays open until 9 PM even on Fridays. Very convenient for me.

Fast, friendly service and they take walk-ins. Got a great cut with a complementary deep shampoo and scalp massage. They also threw in a free shoulder massage and straight razor trim. Nice prices too. What’s not to like?

Went here 3 months ago and still am trying to recover from the butcher job that Bri gave me ( on purpose). I have extremely long hair ( or had) asked for a 2 inch trim she already had anomsity in her voice and her response was very rude and she proceeded to thin my hair so much that I have bald spots on my head she took out most of my hair and cut and shaved off to scalp then covered it up and hid the underneath I left with hair wet and had to go on a plane when hai dried I was devastated went back to complain was treated as if no one gave a bleep and I see she is still working there with all the other bad reviews she is racking up could of gotten a better cut at pet snart

Short wait times and good environment. However, most of the barbers there struggle with black men's hair. Will either not fade properly or misshape the hairline. Also haircuts are expensive ($24+)

I came in because of all the good reviews but had a very negative experience. The stylist didn't clean the chair or the equipment beforehand, so I was sitting in an itchy sea of someone else's hair. The cut wasn't what I asked for and was uneven. Had to have her fix multiple uneven places and it was in general a very poorly done cut. Looking around I could see there are stylists here that are much better, so if you know who you want and ask in advance I am sure you could have a better experience here than I did. Unfortunately I was unlucky and I will certainly not come back. The staff were kind and polite about it so I gave 3 stars not one.

Chuck is one of my stylist I have who does my designs when i get my hair tapered. Brie is my main stylist. She gives great convo and style tips. The staff overall is friendly. The shop is clean and well maintained.

Horrible. I asked for just a trim and when she finished i saw that my hair looked extremely blunt on the bottom. So i asked her to add a little layers hoping to make the ends look less blunt. The layers were super uneven and very obvious layers. It was just a horrible experience...

Wonderful place. It's very affordable and has a great environment. . . My stylist, Ari, did an excellent job personalizing my haircut to complement my looks. I definitely recommend calling in to make an appointment. I called ahead and got an appointment within 2 hours. I would definitely go back again.

Had my second razor fade today, and it re-affirmed why I love Floyd's—excellent service with all the small details that set it apart from other barbers I've been to in several major US cities: hot towel prep, massages, easy post-cut shampoo add on. But above all I loved the skill and precision of the cut... and the results speak (show?) for themselves. Ari U, my barber, was friendly and wonderfully communicative. My favorite shop in Baltimore, hands down. I highly recommend!

Went here to the rotunda location for the first time for a shape-up. Went in on a Monday night without an appointment and they took me right away. Got my shape up done by Britt B. and she did a great job, just like sprout but half the price... Definitely coming back here for shape ups and hey maybe for everything. Why pay more?

Service here was really horrible. I had an unbelievably lengthy time to be seated. More worse, no one cared about you. The receptionist and barbers were obsessed with their phones. So I had to run away. Though living around Rotunda, I will not return.

This is a great place! The staff/stylists are incredibly friendly and excellent at what they do. Even though it was my first time there I felt very welcomed. I was a walk-in on a Thursday afternoon. Rebecca cut my hair and trimmed my beard. I had a general idea of how I wanted my hair cut and she was extremely helpful in figuring out the style I wanted. She was very attentive and communicative the whole time checking in with me on practically every detail (ex. length, style, products) but not overbearing. Besides a haircut and beard trim the services I received included a warm compress over my face during a shampoo, a back neckline shave, some beard oil in my beard, and a shoulder massage with an electric massager. Getting a shampoo is normally an extra $5 but mine was on the house! All the other services were complimentary! I felt like I had been indulged! I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The cost is very reasonable and entirely worth it for all you get!

Insane that at a “barbershop”, they not only had no barbers at all, but had not even a “stylist” that could do a skin fade with clippers. This is after calling ahead, and driving way out of my way to come to this location. I have been a long time customer, but will never be coming back. Absolutely disappointing and absurd. Beware.

The service was great, and the vibe/atmosphere in the room is just the coolest. It's also very clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. I got a complimentary shoulder massage too! I had an utterly disappointing experience here, despite having an appointment it took a lengthy time to be seated, only to then be greeted by the least competent barber i have met. She was unprofessional, coughed into her hand repeatedly, and did not know any haircut terminology, even ones as basic as taper. Ultimately disappointed and will not be returning, 1 Star!

This was my first visit to Floyd's Barbershop and I have to admit I was apprehensive about going here for a haircut but once I entered the building I was greeted by what I deem to be some of the friendliest people I had ever met. The decor is something that you might find at a rock concert but nothing that will shock you. My barber/stylist was Chuck who took time to understand what I wanted, he even took time to discuss my past issues with other barbers. Chuck was very cool to talk too doing my time there and did an excellent job on my hair and this was the first barber who ever edged me with a straight razor and not knick or cut me if I hadn't watched him razor me I would never have known he was using a straight razor on me. I will be returning here again and I STRONGLY recommend that you give them a try as well..I guarantee you will enjoy your experience.

Man, the sign on the door says 24 for a cut, so I'm like okay that's reasonable. Barber asks me if I wanna get my beard trimmed, so I said of course. Come to find out it went up to 36 dollars because of the beard trim. Seriously? It took 2 seconds. 36 dollars for a 3-1 fade and a beard trim to a 1 1/2... Never again.

My barber shop was closed last Sunday for some reason. I thought I was already out anyway, I might as well just get a haircut at the next open barber shop I’d see. It turned out okay, but I really should have just waited for my regular barber to open. The haircut wasn’t the best.
