This is not your childhood barbershop, conversations use a wide range of adult language.... The haircuts are amazing and, let me make this clear, THEY CAN STYLE BEARDS/FACIAL HAIR. Plus they are suuuuuuper affordable. Don't forget your cash as they don't take credit/debit cards though there is an ATM in the shop if you forget. They also do a hot lather straight razor trim with your cut. Love this place.

I went there for a beard trim and i was left disappointed they didn't really do what i ask them to do and one of the other barbers that was there kept accidentally bumping into my chair I don't think it was by accident though it happened 4 times i had to go to another place I probably won't be back

I used to cut my own hair, then went to a salon, but all along, this is were I belong. It's worth every penny for an ol' fashion feel. Incredible employees and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

There is absolutely nothing to say about the quality of the haircut that you could get to this place. I go here every two months, and they are really good. I just hope they hire more barbers because it gets pretty busy on Saturdays.

You really cant beat any aspect of the shop. This is exactly what a REAL barbershop should be. I used to live in Annapolis, but I drive back 2 hours from OC just to get my cut and shave from these guys. Well worth it!! Faraj, Dave, and Sam really can't be beat!

I finally decided to go to the barber yesterday after 5 months of refusing to do so. I had been trying to grow out my hair but it got to a very awkward stage and I knew I needed a barber. The guy at Capistrano was awesome. I got a crew cut and I have never felt this comfortable.

If you don’t go here....You’re wrong. Old school style shop with the best barbers. There is a lost art of a men’s barbershop found here. No appointments and be prepared to want to hang for a while after. Here it’s about more than a haircut. Leave your cell phone in the car and come check it out.

It's great to know that businesses like Capistrano's Barber Shop still exist. Family owned and operated barber shop, not like the hipster versions popping up all around but a real old time barber shop. You never know who you'll run into once inside but the you'll always be welcomed like you're family.

Excellent atmosphere and cut. A lot of locals in the shop and a bit of a wait, however, Faraj and his staff have lively conversation with the shop and take their time with the cuts. If you want to have your hair cut in silence, obviously this isn't the place for you, but if you enjoy a lively Saturday morning with company, head over there.

Do you like being repeatedly bumped down in line, then waiting 30+ minutes for an uneven trim? All while listening to barbers trash talk women and other customers once they’ve left? Don’t bother coming if you’re not already “in the club”.

I've been here numerous times. Always hit or miss even though you may have same barber. Last time was total miss. Hair on right side of head had a big blotch of hair gone??? Only saw it when I got home and looked in mirror. Decided not to go back... let hair grow out some, then repair elsewhere. Will not be back. Note that this is not an appointment place. First come, first serve....unless you are from state house. Then you bump everyone and go to front of line. Go figure??? I won't be back due to poor haircuts and bumping policy. Unbelievable!

Know when to go cuz it's usually packed but there is a good reason. You literally can't find this type of service and atmosphere anywhere else anymore. WALK-IN & CASH ONLY. Sam is my dude, but you can get a top-notch cut from any one the 4 guys, and even a old-school hot lather shave if you have the time. Donuts on weekends, with snacks and drinks for free anytime you come in for a cut. Thanks to Faraj and the whole crew!!!

One thing though customers...if you're going to get a shave too, don't do it on Saturday morning with 12 guys in line. Go on an off time, or at least later in the day. D.

If you are a man, have a son or like men's haircuts, go here. I take my son here every month and my husband goes all the time. They have never had a bad haircut. This place feels like an old times barber shop with a little bar hidden away. I highly recommend!!

They created interesting atmosphere pretending to be a cheap version of a gentlemen's club and providing you some free liqueur in a plastic cup. They also can talk to you A LOT, even too much... BUT: these people can not cut hair, haircuts they do are just AWFUL and only appropriate for village men, who don't care about how their hair look

This is the type of barber shop you only see in the movies. You walk in, its crowded with men and women talking and enjoying the Frank Sinatra station.
