I have been getting my hair cut at Brice’s for several years. I’ve had my hair cut by Brice, Patrick and Alex. Who each did a good job. For a keyboard warrior to start a smear campaign against a business Who’s politics they don’t agree with is wrong. At Brice’s shop a differing opinion is welcome, but be prepared to defend your position. In America the Barbershop is maybe the last bastion of differing opinions from Floyd’s in Mayberry to the Barbershop in “Coming to America” everyone can have their own opinion. But if you have a problem solve it before you leave not on Google reviews. That’s cowardly. Remember there are three sides to every story....His side, Her side and the truth.

I started taking my 11 year old son here about 6 months ago. Until this barbershop it has always been a struggle to get him to get a hair cut. He loves it and looks forward to getting his hair cut here. They are patient and always talk to him during the haircut. The wait for the haircut is definitely worth it.

The staff here has always been amazing. I went there a little early to try and beat the end of summer/beginning of school traffic. As I walked in I realized I left my wallet at home and started walking to my car. Alex came running out of the shop and told me to come in so I wouldn't hit the traffic. Told me just to come back when I was done with my wallet. I have always had a great experience with the staff and people around. Little things like that go a long way, and they have a new customer for a long time!

Overall a really great barbershop! I regularly get my hair cut here and really like the job they do. Usually Alex or Nadia cut my hair and Chris usually does my kids. All three do great jobs. Military Friendly. They can do skin fades upon request, I'm Active Duty. The price is fair compared to other good barbershops, but you get what you pay for here...Which is quality and time because they don't rush. (around $18 plus tip...Not a cheap $10 barbershop) It can get busy during Saturdays to the point of standing room only...no too bad during the weekdays though. Not open on Sundays.

Took my son to get his haircut here about a month ago. Brice did a great job. Decided to give him a shot myself. Didn’t cut it how I wanted and he admitted to me that he didn’t think he was the right person to cut my type of hair. I respected that. He didn’t even charge me. No hard feelings. Took my son back 2 weeks later because we were very happy with how his hair turned out. Waited 20 mins and when his chair opened up, he refused to cut his hair. He kept saying he wasn’t a good fit. I reiterated several times that I wasn’t getting a haircut, my son was. I even said I didn’t hold it against him for the haircut I got last time. He actually said he would cut his hair for $50, but not the standard $17. I was pretty appalled and just left. Told my wife about what happened and she posted a 1 star Facebook review. It was removed within 24 hours. Since Google reviews can’t be removed, I figured this was the best place to share my experience. If you want a good haircut for a toddler, go see Ricky at Pigtails & Crewcuts in Annapolis.

i love this barber shop! I have alex cut my hair for the last year and it is always great! i have tried several places before making brices my ONLY spot. He is a little expensive and they dont offer kids pricing which is very odd. still worth the money which is why i return every 2 weeks.

My first walk into a barbershop. I brought photographs of a clipper cut pixie. Brice says "of course I can cut a pixie". (Look at the picture right after this haircut. You be the judge) I waited about 20 minutes to be taken care of. I showed him several pictures of what I was interested in and I told him I did not want the top cut. It was becoming apparent that he did not hear what I was saying. About halfway through my haircut, Brice says ,"wow it's been 15-20 years since I've cut a woman's hair". Then when he's finished he says, "I'm never going to do a woman's hair again. There's no charge!". And if you could see this haircut, it isn't even a half way decent man's regular haircut much less a "Pixie". One side is longer than the other... it surely is a chopped-up mess. I wished he had told me in the beginning that he had been 20 years since cutting a woman's hair! Is it greed? ego? Why did you say you could do it? Why didn't you say up front, "it's been 20 yrs since I've cut a woman's hair"? You NEVER said "get one of these other barbers to do it". Thank God for bleach and someone who knows how to use clippers. It had to be fixed! Brice is very unprofessional and lied in his review response. He spoke to no one else in the salon about my hair while I was there. He did not offer to do a razor cut on me. He just started razoring the top of my hair. And I did ask for more off, just over my ears. He went on and on about the drama going on in the salon while I was sitting there. Apparently he has a problem with the guy that works next to him and their communication issues. I think the communication issues are Brice's own. Btw, I am 60 yrs old. So yes, I asked about the senior discount that apparently Brice would begrudge me. I love my haircut now that it has been corrected (and it is even shorter)! Go ahead and check out the pictures I was able to post: the picture I showed Brice, the before and after! And no way would he touch this head again! I see by others reviews that if he discovers that he can't do the haircut, he just says "Don't come back"! Nice.

Call ahead! Brice's is the best barbershop in Pasadena, but they DO NOT keep to their posted hours. They'll often be closed very early on Saturday (today they were closed when I stopped by at 1:30, in spite of listed hours until 3:30). I can usually only get my hair cut on weekends, and often can't even get one then because they'll be closed. It's a shame because I love the service and value of the shop. It would be 5 stars if I could rely on getting a haircut on weekends.

I've been coming to Brice's roughly once every 4-6 weeks for the past 3.5 years now, as recently as today. I think I've gotten cut by every barber who has worked here in that time, including the ones who no longer work here. I'm pretty reserved and quiet so I doubt any of them would recognize me or be able to name me, but I've never had a problem here in almost 4 years. I've never gotten a cut that I wasn't happy with. There was one cut that I wanted a small adjustment on at the end, but that was handled with no issues, just had to let him know what I wanted. The shop itself has had some slight renovations to it since I've been coming here, but it's always been neat, clean, and inviting. Overall, I've never had a bad experience at Brice's, I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a barber shop in the area.

This is a great place to get a haircut in Pasadena. The atmosphere here is fun and friendly which is great if you ever have to wait few minutes before making it to a chair. Brice is very personable and on more than one occasion has arrived early to accommodate my busy schedule. Family friendly and great for kids, I've been bringing my son here since he was 5. I believe in supporting local small business and even more so when the service is exceptional. Highly recommended.

I’ve never been one to leave a negative review anywhere, but I have to share how furious I am after my experience with Brice’s Barbershop. I walk in and wait for the two barbers to finish up their conversation (about ten minutes) before I get seated to start my haircut. I ask for a fade and leaving the length on the top. In the middle of the quick haircut, they started trash talking “millennial hipsters” and I look over to see a MAGA hat and Trump books. I totally separate that from the haircut execution, but it was still a huge turnoff for the 27 year old they were cutting while trash talking... The entire haircut was done with my chair turned so I couldn’t see myself in the mirror. Once the haircut is done the man rushes over to the register for payment, and I look in the mirror to see an awfully visible line from where they switched blades for the fade. I ask him to transition that line a little more and I get a silent treatment from the barber as he does it. He then brings the buzz up almost to the top of my head, when I asked him to leave the top long. I’m now headed to be in a wedding party tomorrow and the photos will all contain me and my awful haircut. Thanks Brice. Make Barbers Great Again.

My hair has been cut by everyone who works there , and never had an issue , everything always turned out well . It’s a cool spot to hang out , talk about sports , or whatever . Very quick and professional staff , and it’s worth your wait even if there’s a few people in front of you .

I have been coming to Brice’s for almost a year now. I am in there every 2-3 weeks. I have had my haircut by Brice, Alex and a previous female employee. All have been extremely friendly, professional and never once have I left there feeling like I got a bad haircut. I moved to the area about 3 1/2 years ago and tried every place in a 20 minute drive, Brice’s shop was the only I was pleased with. The conversation is always entertaining and the service is stellar. Wether it is your first time through the door or your 50th, you are always greeted by the staff. Top Notch.

What an absolute nightmare. I cannot believe this actually happened. I took my two older boys here for hair cuts yesterday (their cuts turned out very nice, for the record) and I had my 10 month old youngest son with me as well, in my arms the whole time. When the girl with the black hair took my oldest in her chair, she pointed at my baby and asked “him too?” And I said “oh no thank you, maybe next year” and we both laughed (he has a lot in the back/on the sides but almost none on top so it was kinda funny and I honestly thought she was joking). She came up to my baby occasionally during the cut to talk to him or play with him. When she finished up with my oldest, I waited beside her chair because the waiting chairs are right next to her chair super close. At one point she paused in her cleaning and came back up to us, with a comb (seemed harmless right?) and she placed it above my baby’s ear, combing downward a bit and saying something like “I could just do this for him right here” and right as I opened my mouth to say “no thank you” (again) she immediately raised her other hand, with SCISSORS in it, and just snipped one of his curls RIGHT OFF!! She cut my baby’s hair WITHOUT PERMISSION. My baby’s beautiful curl fell to pieces onto a dirty hair covered floor. She would have kept going too, I had to turn away from her with him in my arms (as I was literally in a corner) while saying no. I then had to stand there in horror, red faced and shocked speechless, holding back tears as I waited for the other girl to finish with my younger son. When she took my card I told her what happened and that it was NOT okay and someone needed to talk to that girl and she seemed shocked and horrified and extremely apologetic and the other girl apologized in confusion from across the room as well but that does not pick my baby’s curl up off the floor. Baby curls do NOT grow back!! He has never had a hair cut before! And I did not plan on cutting it any time soon either! I’m sure everyone knows that it is a big deal and an event when parents get their baby’s hair cut for the first time. :’( And he is my last baby too. I just sat in my car and cried. my heart is honestly broken and every time I look at that spot in his hair I get sad all over again!! How could anyone, especially working in a barber shop that I’m sure does first hair cuts all the time, not know that you cannot do this!!?? Just wrong. So violating! Not to mention that surprising me with scissors in my baby’s face/near his ear could have got him cut or hurt!

Everyone is always friendly, eager to say hello, and will have you in-and-out quickly, without sacrificing quality. Best of all, it's affordable and they don't push product down your throat. I don’t normally take the time to write reviews. If I like the place or they provide good service I continue to patronize the business. I don’t make false claims or try to negatively affect a business because of one bad experience. I will say that if you are looking for a barbershop, this is the best in the Pasadena area. I am a every week customer, so I think I would know more than most about how great it is. Brice’s is one of the most welcoming places you can be. The barbers greet most of the customers by name. The whole barbershop makes you feel included in the conversation, wether it’s about Alex’s story of the night before or about his home improvement project. Also you will be treated with the fabulous fashion of Pat! If you reading these reviews please disregard the negative reviews which are clearly an attempt to affect a LOCAL business. If you want get a better understanding of why I gave 5 stars , go to to Brice’s yourself and get a haircut. If you are getting a Flat Top ask for Chantelle!

Lloyd cut my hair and he did a great job, was friendly and did exactly what I asked for, taking the time to do it right and not rushing.
