Terry’s is a first class barber shop locate in Lexington SC. I have been getting my hair cut here once a week, every week since 2012. I have never walked out of Terry’s place with a bad haircut. If you are military or other public servant I highly recommend this barber shop. Terry and her staff can cut flat tops, high and tights, and fades to regulation and they can do it every time. Besides the top quality work that Terry, Amanda and Mrs. Eva are capable of they are all beautiful people inside and out. I always leave Terry’s feeling better than when I walked in.

Terry's Barber Shop is one of the best TRUE barber shop's in town, meaning you get a quality haircut by trained barbers with years of experience, not a sub-par cut from a stylist claiming to be a "barber." I have been going to Terry's Barber Shop for about a year and have been completely satisfied with haircut's from Terry, Amanda and Eva. I have never waited more than 20 mins for a haircut (rarely that long) and am always greeted and made to feel welcome. Recently I had a very bad haircut from another "barber shop" in town, because I wasn't able to get to Terry's Barber Shop, and Amanda did an excellent job of completely fixing the bad haircut received from the other shop. If you're someone who enjoys short haircuts/fades/taper cuts/ college cuts, I would highly recommend you take a trip to Terry's Barber Shop!

I was driving home from West Columbia and have desperately needed a cut. It was already 5:30 and I was pretty sure i would be out of luck, but i found this place on Google and saw they were open until 7 and thought I'd give it a try. I have them a call and was told they were packed, but if I could be there at 6:30 they'd fit me in. Sure enough, I walk in to this establishment at 6:25 and was instantly blown away! I had never experienced anything like this before, and even the guy across from me got up and said he's found his new home! The staff is fantastic, the music is great, the vibe is perfect. Terry and her crew are the best I've ever seen, and make sure the experience is the best you'll ever have. This place is a MUST!

Before Terry's, I've always gone to your typical big chain "family salon" type places (Great Clips, Cost Cutters, etc.). I got sick and tired of some girl just trying to get me in and out of the chair as quickly as possible. They usually did a terrible job, and just when I would find the girl that actually did decent work...she would have transferred across town, or just wasn't there for whatever reason when I went back a few weeks later. I couldn't take it anymore. I started looking around, and found out Ms. Terry had a barber shop right around the corner. I've known Ms. Terry for a long time, as she went to high school with my mom, and I went to school with her sons. I decided to give her a try, and man am I glad I did! I've been going to her for a few months now, and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. This place is the real deal, and every barber in her shop is great at what they do! I didn't know what I was missing...I mean hot towels, straight razor clean shave, they're up to date on the latest styles (as well as classics and military cuts), and great hair and beard products for men! I now feel like I have my own personal stylist, and the last thing I have to worry about is my hair. The best part is, it's only a couple of dollars more than the careless chains around the corner...and they CARE! Bottom line is...stop by sometime and let them show you what I'm talking about, you'll be glad you did!

Got the worst wet shave there. My neck is so red and swollen from the shave. This isn’t my first time getting a wet shave but it sure will be my last at Terry’s. I wish I could post a picture of how bad it is. Wet shavers beware. Sitting in my car with the ac blowing on my neck and downing some antihistamine is not the way I expected to kill some time in Lexington.

I was so blown away of how good their customer service was. First, I was greeted by this gentleman at the counter taking the time to get my information and informing me about their service. He offered me a drink of choice from the drink cooler and even offered me a beer or liquor of choice. I thought he was kidding about the Alcohol until I saw a wide selection of beers and liquors on a display board. A big wow, complimentary drink!! Terry the owner did an outsiding job on my haircut with great precision and taking the time to make it just right. You will get the complete old school barber experience when you sit in their antique chairs surrounded by the old style barber environment. I like that they do a razor shave the old fashion way and the drinks are completely (beer) one thing you woulnt have to worry about is that your haircut will be rushed. Good haircut, but on the expensive side. I started using Terry's Barber Shop about 6 months ago. My first cut was $16 and the second was $17 however, todays cut was $20 for a standard Men's cut with no special services. The $4 increase over a 6 month period is way out of line for the services provided. Time to find a new Barber Shop with reasonable / fair prices.

I found my new barber shop! My normal one didnt open until 10am and I needed a haircut earlier this morning. Went to Terry's and had the best haircut I'd had in years! The atmosphere was awesome and they made me feel at home! I wont go anywhere else!

By far, Terry is the best barber/stylist that has ever cut my son’s hair! He has been going to her for over 10 years. Recently, we arrived to her shop around 6:20pm (normally closes at 6:00) and I knocked on her door anyway bc I could see her cutting an older gentleman’s hair. We haven’t seen her in over 6 months bc the last time my son got his hair cut was when we were out of town on vacation. And his hair has looked terrible for months. She welcomed us in and we found out there was another client ahead of my son in addition to the gentleman she was working on. I was floored when my son said he didn’t mind waiting. I watched her artistry as she gave two spectacular haircuts before she cut my son’s hair; he couldn’t have been more pleased when we left there! She didn’t rush with any of the clients ahead of us and she spent more than an ample amount of time with my son. If my son waits patiently for a haircut, she has proven her barber skills but more importantly, she proved she cares about customer service! Terry, thank you for always taking care of my son and not giving him a haircut that takes 5 minutes. We will try to be loyal to you as you have been to us!

The best accident I’ve ever had. I happened upon this place by sheer luck of my misdirection. Upon walking in I was promptly greeted and welcomed into a friendly atmosphere. I had been looking for a barber shop that wasn’t your run of the mill “grandpa’s” barbershop but more of an upscale modern touch. That’s exactly what I found here. I received a haircut above what I could have expected. All of the barbers were very friendly and made this an enjoyable experience. The ambience of the establishment was very much towards what I was looking for and more. Thanks again for a great experience and an even better haircut.

We are new to the area and I took my 11 year old son to Terry's because I had read the great reviews and he was looking for a very specific style. We showed Rudy a picture of the style and he did an absolutely fabulous job on my son's hair!! The atmosphere was wonderful, everyone was so friendly, and I was so thankful that my son loved his haircut. I'm looking forward to making Terry's a family tradition for years to come as I have three boys and truly enjoyed our first experience.

Id been to 5 different places before I stumbled On Terrys after leaving the post office. Having never been happy with any of the places Id been I decided to stop in. Terry and Amanda immediately started talking to each other about what I needed. I guess it was obvious. Halfway thru i felt much more comfortable as she just went straight to work without asking me what I needed to tell her to do. I cant express how happy I was walking out of there. As thinned out as my hair is now I thought it may be a lost cause. For the first time in a long time I felt good about my hair cut. I will never go anywhere else.
