I went in there on Wednesday, August 15th and have been growing out my hair since May of 2017, a year and a couple months. I showed the barber a picture of what I wanted, guy with his hair lined up and long hair pulled and he recommends a pompadour. I said no, because I want it to stick out the back of my hat. He says he’ll hook me up real and proceeds to give me the pompadour and cuts my long hair in the back! Long story short, when I’m arguing about what he did, the other barber says to show him a picture on the wall of what I want. I said it’s too late, the dude cut my hair I was trying to keep. Bad experience. Barber didn’t listen. Didn’t even line it up evenly. I was too angry to stay and demand a refund, so I paid him and did his review. Really disappointed. Even showed him a picture before clearly showing I wanted to keep longer hair. Shop is probably pretty good overall, but the barber I had butchered my hair. I could have gotten the same haircut at Wonder Cuts.

Wendell's is the best barbershop, I have found in this area, great fades. They are perfectionists, take their time, always leave pleased. Get there early unless you go early in week.

My wife and I just moved to Mandeville and I was looking for a new Barbor. A google search and previous comments like this from other happy customers led me to Mr. Wendell’s. When I walked, the man himself had an open seat available. Wendell did an amazing job. His attention to detail were impeccable.
