Asked for a specific hair cut, the barber took his electric clippers and buzzed all my hair off expect two strips. I went back after I realized how awefull it looked and asked them to fix it. The barber began throwing insults. This is the worst barbershop ive ever been to. Beware of this horrible place! Time to go file a small claims lawsuit. You have been warned.

Been to Kevin's a few times and the service had been fantastic. The price is actually pretty good for how well they do, most other places I've been offering similar services are 10 bucks more at least. This is not a place that you can in and out real quick (unless maybe you request it) but that's not a knock against them. The barbers take their time to make sure your hair is right and looks good

Stay away from Matt if you frequent this shop. Not only will he take two hours to get the job done, the end result will not be what you ask for. Even after showing him pictures of the haircut I wanted he still managed to get off track and do his own thing. I had to stop the cut before he was finished because I could see he was trying to give me a bald fade after I had expressed to him that is not what I wanted. After paying for a haircut from a licensed barber I would not have expected I would need to wear a cap for the next few months to hide the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I do not see how this man acquired a license and I think the owner of Kevin’s needs to shadow him until he gets better. I live close to the shop but I will drive out of my way to avoid going back here.

I just moved back to Richmond and was sad to find that Wells wasn't around anymore, a friend recommend Kevins. I couldn't be happier they did a great job and the place is great!!!

I've been using Kevin's for a decade. The barbers are always professional and friendly. It's the kind of place that doesn't need a computer to remember what type of haircut you like. I will say that the only downfall(?) is that you would be wise to make an appointment, but that's only if you are used to places in the shopping mall that jack your dome up. Good haircuts take time and once people get one from Kev's, they keep coming back.

I tried to go get a hair cut without a appointment but the sign says "walk-ins welcome" so I went on in. After I signed in and waited an hour I was then told that I wouldn't be able to get a hair cut. I understand as far as not having a appointment, but the sign said walk-in welcome and then for me wait a hour to be turned away was beyond ridiculous. Moral of the story- make an appointment.

Great place. Only one around that opens early enough for me to stop before work. Was the 7:30 a.m. on a Saturday and got a chair soon as walked (was three others waiting for doors to open). First time there but will definitely not be the last. It's more of a traditional barbershop. NOT TO MENTION THE STRAIGHT RAZOR! LOVE THAT!

Just got my 2 year old son's hair cut and his head is all gapped up bad!! The barber cut himself, bled in my son's hair and didn't even bother to wash it out or put a bandaid to stop the blood instead he put toilet tissue in his hand and kept cutting. Now we have to go and pay someone else to try and fix the damage done to my son's hair!! Waste of money!!
