Only got a shave. Comfortable, but done with a disposable razor, not a real straight razor. Leaned back into a sink instead of in a barber chair. Also not a complete hot towel treatment. Friendly people.

The haircuts are pretty good. I go there to get my son's haircut. It's a pretty basic cut that I get for him. They usually do well, most times I have to specifically ask them to better shave at the neckline and get some strays by his ears. They usually offer you a drink (soda, water or beer) when you go in. Often a bit of a wait but not bad.

She completely screwed up my guy's hair. Showed her a pic with longer hair and she gave him butchered short hair.

I've been in Baton Rouge for 7 months and been to at least as many different barbers trying to get an even passable high and tight. This place did not deliver. It wasn't the worst haircut I've had here in town, but for the price ($25 for a really simple haircut) it just wasn't worth it. If I want a mediocre haircut I have to go over with my own clippers to even it out, I'll go to Supercuts and pay $14.

Apparently a "2 on the sides and a trim on top" means a 2 buzzed in on the sides and a 2 snipped in on top. It literally took 5 weeks for my hair to grow back to a decent length. Plus, the barber seemed more concerned with talking to her peers rather than cutting hair. Worst $20 haircut I've ever received; stay away.

You just can't beat this place the workers are so friendly they give you free soft drinks and water to drink. They really pamper you massage your head even wash it after they cut it.
