Great cut every time. They really know how to give a quality haircut. Had a few different people cut my hair there over the last few years I've been going there. the wait usually isn't too long and the prices are very affordable. Cash only! So make sure you have it before you walk in.

I showed the blonde older woman a picture of what I wanted, she completely messed it up, so I asked her to just give me a buzz cut, which she also messed up by missing a bunch of hair on my neck. At the end of the haircut she said, "it's just hair, it will grow back." Worst 20 dollars spent ever....

I've been cutting my hair myself for years because I am particular about it, never felt great about a cut from anyplace new, never had my own trusted barber.. Till I found these guys. It was right down the street from my house and my brother had been going regularly so he insisted I check em out. Needless to say, he was right. Classic, laid back, old school atmosphere makes you feel right at home, the barbers are sociable, highly professional, and most importantly the only dudes I'd trust to get the job done right. I forgot the old dudes name but he's a big deal and decorated veteran apparently, really done a lot with that place. Utmost respect to him and the shop. Anyway I've gotten a cut from most of the guys and I dig the look every single time. Go check it out.

I got my hair cut by the older man who owns the place. It has been over a month since I got my hair cut at Family Barber and I still have to wear a hat every day because my hair looks so bad. He completely missed the natural part in my hair and trimmed way too far up, and it will be a long time until my hair is ever the same again. I highly recommend going anywhere else

Great place with whole range of clientele in age and cut style preferences. They always get me in and out without too much wait and they ALWAYS give you classic warm-foam neck shave and deep-tissue machine rub on your shoulders. Can't go wrong with Family Barber.

I used family barber shop because it's cheap. $20 for a regular haircut and I would tip $5. They never did a terribly good job on my hair. Seemed like every time I went, I would ask for one thing and get something else. There are a lot of weird political signs on the wall that aren't very welcoming. Last time I went in, I waited for about an hour and a half and one of the barbers let his buddy cut in front of me without saying anything. That was it for me. Nothing left to redeem this place except the cheap price, and it just isn't worth the savings.

Been here several times and it is a great experience especially for $15. The only reason I give three stars instead of 5 is that they tend to close early if they don't have any customers. If you post your hours as open until 5, you need to stay open until then. This has happened three different times to me. Be sure to call and check if they are open if you plan to come within two hours of closing time.

I told the lady first thing coming in that I wanted a "fade". She said okay and started whacking away. After her cut she gave me the mirror to look at the back of my head and it was butchered! I said "What's that?" and she gave me some haircut term that I was unfamiliar with. Then she could tell I was displeased and she said I could square it way for you and I say "yes!". So she touched it up and it looked better. Then I asked her again "Can you fade me?" and there was a complete misunderstanding of what I was referring to. She asked "Do you still see the lines" and I said "what?" and she kept asking me the same question. I said just fade me and she cut more and it was okay. I didn't get a bad haircut but it wasn't what I really expected. I guess they're not hip to the young trends (I'm only 25) but my haircut wasn't what I wanted. She cut it well just not a lot of good communication\ and it wasn't what I wanted. By this time there were some people waiting and she literally said "my stores filling up" which was basically my indication to stop asking for what I wanted. I paid and gave her a $5 tip and left. I left dissatisfied with my haircut.
