A unique barber experience and a great cut! We traveled 6 hours and walked right in and got seated. Our dogs were able to hang out in the shop and they offered us a drink while we waited.

I’m from out of town, but found myself in LX in dire need of a haircut. Looked for places on Google with no horror story reviews and came across the Illustrated Barber. They lived up to their 5-star reviews. Matt was great and gave me a fantastic haircut, talking through it to make sure that I was getting what I wanted. Great experience all around and I would not hesitate to go back when I’m in LX again.

I've been to almost every barber shop in lex and none have been as great as this place. It has a super chill atmosphere with some amazing barbers. Ask for Benny. He gave me a cut & beard trim and it was by far the best I've had.

Needed a haircut fast and by shear luck I found The Illustrated Barber. Darin handled my cut as a walk-in (I note I hadn’t had a haircut in months so I was pretty disheveled looking) and he did exactly what I had hoped for. My favorite barber shop so far, Austin, Ben and Chris all know their stuff. They give a cut the way it should be done. They also help you get your look together, I really didn't know what I wanted but they steered me in the right direction. Great guys.

Loved this place. Great atmosphere. Probably the best haircut and beard trim I've ever had. Being offered a beer was an amazing touch as well. Everyone there seemed very knowledgeable and patient. They took their time and there was no rush. Will definitely come here again.

Hands down best beard trim and hair cut I’ve ever had! $25 for about a solid 45minutes cut! Austin is the man! I’m not from here but will def be back! The atmosphere is great and Austin will keep you laughing with some stupid funny stories! Really appreciate the cut and trim man! Highly recommended!

Great Haircut by Darin for $25 they do it right and take there time with attention to detail. I actually like this place better than I did roosters which is similar. Darin even offered me a beer while getting my hair cut which I thought was awesome. Great work I'll be back for sure. 3rd hair cut wasn't that great basically got a trim for $31 total. Doesn't have me dying to go back.
