They do quality haircuts, I am going to try and get it cut again today but I must also be honest... Kentucky Wildcuts has awful hours. The worst in Lexington. Their hours or more of a suggestion than actually kept. I rode my bike down last Saturday and was standing at their door at 2:49 and the doors were locked. They pretty much never stay open passed 5 when booked up. If someone walks in at 5:59 they should still get a cut. Hours means what time a place closes (as in taking no more work on) not what time a place stops working all together. Their hours keep them from getting 5 stars.

I have never seen such a horrible display of business acumen. Maybe they cut hair well - but man, they need to even WALK by a business class. No one in there has a clue on how to treat a client. How the place stays open is a mystery to me. If I didn't know better I would have thought I was on a prank show. NOTHING or NOBODY could possibly be as slow at anything without doing that on purpose. Imagine if the people that move the pylons on a highway construction road crew were cutting hair - without an appointment that's what you can expect - same pace - same level of energy. Saturday Night Live could do a series on the worst business operations and this would be a classic. If you value your time AT ALL you should go somewhere else. Go find a business that gives a s**t and support them.

Great barbers and genuinely good guys. They don't rush through haircuts though there's almost always a wait from walk in. First come, first serve. I was having issues with my card and had to leave to get cash from my bank and they trusted me to do that. I came back and tipped because that days allot about the establishment. Great place.

Fantastic staff, professionals who give you common haircut styles or cut your hair exactly to your specifications. The price is fair and they know what they are doing. 4 stars for that. I will however deduct one star because ever since they implemented the appointment system the wait period has increased from 1-2 hours to over 2 hours. Still nice barber shop tho.

Yeah, You will wait or you could make an appointment if you call. They will put the same amount of time on you as they do all of their customers. WILDCUTS has quality that you'd be hard pressed to find any where else, if at all.

Came in at about 2:40 on a Tuesday. There were three people sitting down ahead of me, so I thought the wait shouldn't be too bad. I ended up leaving at about 5:20 and never even got to sit down for a haircut. Even though I'd been waiting for so long, none of the workers were in any hurry at all to attend to me or the other people waiting.

Admittedly, my reference for barbers is probably fairly uncalibrated as WildCuts was my first paid haircut since I was 14 years old- I've simply buzzed my hair every six months since then! However, the time came to finally put effort into the hair and I have not been dissappointed. The wait times are reasonable, but you can book an appointment for only $5. The atmosphere is very cozy and they always offer an excellent bladed finish along your neckline. They are able to fade my hair exactly as I ask- I strongly recommend tipping these hard working folks!

Wait was similar to slightly longer than other shops I've used based on the number of customers in front of me. Took my son for a haircut due to his regular being closed. Looks like I'll be taking him back. Good haircut that both of us were pleased with. Prices are in line with other shops. Being the first time, I'll give them four stars until I see waits and quality on subsequent visits. If all stays the same, or better, I'll update to five.

The atmosphere is good and the barbers here know what they are doing but if you don't have a haircut scheduled, expect the wait time to be extremely long. Often times Wildcuts is very understaffed for how many people are waiting. When I was the 6th person in line for a haircut when I went in at noon on a Friday, it took well over 2 hours for me to finally get my hair cut. Very disappointing, definitely bring work to do.

Went 2 days in a row at 5pm & were closed at both times although online says 6, I called them when I got backed to my car & told them I had came 2 days in a row from Georgetown & he still wouldent cut me after I had explained the situation. A good barber goes out of his way for his customers as I went out of my way to come to their shop. Fix your open times.

Walked in and was asked if I had a Appointment I did not then was asked to wait while they just sat there and talked to one another...would not recommend to anyone ! Seriously need to work on customer service if the want to keep a paycheck!

These guys are first class, Great hair cuts, yes, expect to wait sometimes because everyone loves them, but quality takes time and they move as quick as possible. Prices are very reasonable. And the staff are very personable.

They can't keep any good barbers and they don't do appointments anymore so you wait and wait then the barbers come on with friends and put them in the chair first even though I was sitting out there before they opened. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone EVER.

Called and was told if I made it there in the next 30 minutes they could give me a cut. Showed up in 20 minutes and the doors were locked. Not a good first impression at all. I'll go to rooster's nest from now on

As a professional male that is very particular when it comes to my hair, one would think a high and tight would be fairly elementary for a barber. However I have tried multiple barbershops in Lexington over the past few months just to be disappointed and found myself driving to my old barbershop in NKY. I can say 100% I have finally found a barber that has skills. Ashleigh has impeccable skill and pays close attention to detail. I highly recommend Ashleigh. Hits it spot on, great fade, excellent straight razor around the hairline. Very friendly, definitely my barber as long as I’m in Lexington.

Awesome haircuts, that is why they are so busy. They take time with each customer to make sure they are completely satisfied. You will have to wait because they are busy because they are good. If you want a McDonald's haircut (fast, cheap and below average); this is not a place for you.
