Hit or miss. My husband has had some decent haircuts and other times, has come home with the worst haircut ever! Today, he had a haircut with a “new” stylist that butchered his neck. It looks like he has claw marks from his ears to his shoulders. A couple of months ago he had a great cut from Lola, but she books pretty far in advance.

I have been coming here every 2 weeks for little over a year (yes my hair grows that fast) and I’ve always used Dani every time. I have had problems with finding a hair stylist that can turn my mess of a head into something that is presentable. Ever since I walked into this place and met Dani and see what she can do, I refuse to go anywhere else to have my hair done. Dani is the best and I love the other employees here as well...all very nice, upbeat and always has a smile on their faces. I have had other stylists take care of me prior to Dani and I have not had any negative experience or results. I recommend this location to anybody that needs a good quality hair cut service. Not once have I walked out unsatisfied and not confident with how I look. I’ve recently started getting massages here as well with Alyssa. So far, she is amazing and I leave rejuvenated and relaxed and I will continue to come here for my hair cut and massage needs!

I said "I like the shape and length of my beard. I just want to clean it up." Forty five bucks later and my beard is at least an inch shorter from me fixing the crooked cut she put in it that matched my crooked haircut. All around horrible result. It's a nice place with some neat features, but if you can't cut my hair and you almost murdered my beard, then why would I ever go back? Answer: I won't!

For nearly 10 years now, Gentleman's Cut has been my personal slice of heaven. The girls up front are always cordial with their dazzling smiles and always offer a drink immediately. As soon as I walk in I know to expect a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. I have injuries and get bad migraines, and massages help tremendously. Luckily for me, Gentleman's Cut has always had amazing massage therapists that are happy to help me. I made the mistake-one time-out going somewhere else for a massage...Never again. I've gotten massages at Gentleman's Cut sometimes every week. I've seen the same therapist, Alyssa, religiously for more than a year now. There are no words grand enough to describe the absolute HEAVEN I live in for those 90 minutes. Alyssa not only knows her craft and is able to carry out her abilities better than any other therapist I've ever seen, but also endeavors to create a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere so that I get the most from my visit. I really can't say enough about Alyssa and the rest of the staff. I've never had a bad experience here. Quite the contrary. My visits to Gentleman's Cut are cause for me to hope for my week to go by extra quickly.

I want to begin by saying that I am the pickiest person on the planet when it comes to my haircut. I have bounced from every facility in this city because I just could not find the right fit UNTIL I discovered Gentleman's Cut. I got a referral to see Jessica Watts and knew immediately I found the right person to cut my hair. She listened to me intently, she took time to consult with me about what I wanted, and then executed the exact cut and style that I was asking for. I decided to go back and give it a second shot to see if the experience would be as pleasurable and IT WAS. As a matter-of-fact, I schedule a weekly appointment with Jessica because she is so talented, so helpful, and just a great stylist/person. To this day, she still takes time at the beginning of the cut to see what I'm looking for and how she can make it happen. Excellent, I'll never go to another stylist. GO SEE JESSICA!

Kadee Thompson did a fantastic job on my son's hair. She took the time to figure out what he wanted and then took small amounts off at a time to make sure he was okay with it and it was not too much. He also has a double crown and very very thick hair, which she had no issues dealing with. The boys loved the ambiance of the gentlemen 's cut and they offer drinks upon checking in. I’ve been seeing Jessica to get my hair cut here and she always does an awesome job. I’ve had others cut my hair as well and always had a positive experience. Prices are reasonable for an upscale Aveda salon, and they even offer a free touch up trim between cuts to keep you looking fresh. I really like Aveda products so that’s a huge plus. You can get an Express cut, which is just a standard cut and style, or the full-service Gentleman’s cut which includes a scalp massage and warm towel treatment. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful, and they offer drinks and even beer for customers. I appreciate that they have a text appointment reminder option so that I never forget an appointment when I schedule a few weeks out. This is definitely the best option for men on the East End!

GREAT haircut, and not much more than a cheap shearing shop. Seriously, Jessica is my go to person. I have been to several places trying to get a flat top. Getting one done well is difficult. Enter Jessica. Their prices are a tad higher, but you can still get an express cut for $20+tip -- not bad. And when you are done you are happy with the experience. Now, I will say the decor is a little over the top, and they try to make it a spa for men, so if you need your back waxed go for it, but I just want a haircut and they do it really well. TV's are everywhere, and it's all ESPN all the time, so it has that too. Clean, well-decorated, friendly, professional staff. But I do recommend an appointment as they can get busy. With an appointment, BOOM, on time you are in the chair. No waiting. I LOVE THIS. Jessica is the bomb, but depending on you I think any of the stylists would work. Go for it. You won't regret it.

Really over rated. Don't get me wrong it was a great hair cut loved it. Got the express cut witch is basically just a cut for 25 $, which was almost worth it. If I had got the really nice deal for 45 $ I would have been really upset. More than anything the girl who cut my hair was terrible at the social aspect of her job. Same with barbers around me. I was surprised it was a good clean cut because she didn't seem to care. All management was barely nice. Which wouldn't have been a big deal to most guys at regular hair cut great clips but for a place that boast a premium designer atmosphere and style to it it was completely overhyped. Cashier was boring and dry, barber girl was boring with no guidance or any indication she was a professional or knew what she was doing.

Kala cut my hair she was Excellent she took her time even used a straight razor then unlike other men's haircut places that give you a neck and shoulder massage with a little vibrating thing you buy at CVS she used her hands and gave a true professional massage that was so relaxing I felt like I was in Heaven! You could tell she took pride in her work and cares about her customers. She did a Flawless job I will definitely schedule all my haircuts with her. I can honestly say it is the best haircut I have ever gotten and as long as I'm in Louisville I will never go anywhere else! Kala your Awesome!!!!
