My first Visit to D&V Barber Shop. Got my cut from Ron Gabbard . Ron gave me a fantastic cut , my beard looks great. I didn't see one cut that left this establishment that wasn't what I believe to be superior grooming. These Gentlemen are Masters of their Craft. The Shop was extremely busy, testament unto itself. The shop is extremely well organized , spotless for the amount of work done. The products ( which I will be seeking out next visit ) smelled and felt great. The service received is worth much more than charged. Energetic, yet Calm atmosphere. So glad I found Y'ALL especially Mr. Gabbard. See you soon Ron.. Thanks a Million.

Use to live in Richmond and this was my go to barber shop. Love this place. Went here after my friend recommended it to me, then loved it so I had all my friends going here and then they had their friends go. The barbers here are awesome and know what they’re doing. The straight shave on the neck at the end is great. The clean clippers with the vacuums not letting hair fly all over you is convenient. You’re just gonna get a great cut every time you go here. Every time I’m in Richmond and need a cut this is where I stop. Definitely recommend!

I’d heard about this shop through word of mouth. Let me say it was everything and more. Was looking for a shop that catered to the modern man, while keeping the rustic yet traditional barbershop experience alive. The shop's decor is top notch, any man ages 25-40 is bound to appreciate. Mike greeted me upon entering and welcomed me to have a seat in his chair. I introduced myself and began to explain what I was looking for in a shop and more importantly what I expected in a cut. I phrased to him, “I want a Game of Thrones lordly haircut and beard trim.” He knew exactly what I meant by that, which I greatly appreciated. I work outside and commonly don’t see many other people in a days time so I’d let my beard and hair go for awhile donning, the “homeless” look. Mike immediately got to work up top and carved out a really slick fade into my beard and hairline. I told him I intended to continue growing my beard below chest level. He meticulously accommodated my requests and shaped my beard into the style I’d described. Mike then finished up with the traditional hot lather and cut-throat neck shave. This to my dismay, as I was leaned back and could no longer enjoy one of the televisions that had Terminator 2 airing on it. I gave Mike a sturdy handshake, stoic look, and good tip. This barbershop gets the full 5/5 from me. I will be returning.

For the price it’s hard to beat. However, they usually have a long wait. You need to cut out about an hour to get your hair cut here but if you can stick it out they give decent cuts.

Great barber shop. They almost always have 4 chairs open, and the barbers are great. The prices have gone up about 3 to 4 bucks since i started going so it's getting harder to leave room for a tip. I'm in IT and don't make what they do an hour. With tip it's 15 to 17 for a super simple haircut. Love the place, but the price has me thinking about looking other places.

I was needing to change barbershops, and gave D&V a chance. Best haircut I've had in years. The atmosphere of the place is great and the barber took his time to cut my hair just as I'd asked. Very professional, great cut, and a bargain at that price. I'll definitely be making this my new regular barbershop. (They do straight razor shaves too, which I'm looking forward to getting next time I'm there!)

I get my hair cut here about once a month! I am a woman with a double undercut with a burst fade. They always make my hair look sleek and perfect. I like talking with them and I always have my son with me and they make it fun for him too. Wait was a bit long only because they were so busy, which is a good sign. A really good barber shop with friendly staff. They also offer a beard oil that 2 of the guys there made. They put some on me while there to see if I liked it and it was awesome. Especially the smell, it smells great. Would definitely recommend getting some if you have a beard.
