Great haircuts and they really take their time with you. No 5 minute crappy Sport Clips haircuts here. Totally worth the wait, but you can sign in and then come back and still be considered on the list. Gilbert is the best barber!

I started with Jake a few years ago because he was one of the few barbers that got my hair to lay very naturally. One day he was off and I tried his father JD who also cut my hair exactly like Jake. Now, when Jake is out of the shop, I go to the first available if JD is busy. The staff is friendly, the shop is very clean and the impression overall is they enjoy working there so customers are happy and everyone has a good story or two to tell. They have cable and have several flat screens around the shop usually on the sports channel. They discount for seniors and take cash, check (if they know you) and credit cards. Give them a try.

This is my go to barber shop. I used to live in the area, and moved about 4 years ago. I still travel to there from Olathe because Jake takes his time, does as I request, and they even do the hot shaving cream on the neck!! I'm from New York and this is the closest haircut I can get to home.

This Is An Old School Full Service Barber. My son drives an hour to get his hair cut and a hot shave! From 3 to 103 you'll love JD & Jake's. All of the Barbers are great...but Gilbert is our favorite!

Walked in, never been there before, found them outta pure luck. JD cut my hair and trimmed my beard. Everything about that experience was outstanding. I won't go anywhere else for a haircut again. Came to this barbershop from NKC, I’ll have to say....It was worth the 30 min drive from my house. Nice little place with great vibes and atmosphere. Gilbert ( Barber, who unfortunately is leaving for AZ ) did a fantastic job on my hair. He gave me 5 star service and conversation. My father gets his flat-top haircut here every 5th week. Jake, JD & Gilbert all do an excellent job. Can't go wrong with any of them. This is a very friendly, family oriented barber shop with lots of repeat customers. Love the annual Customer Appreciation BBQ they have every summer! And the prices are reasonable.

I went here for a few months and then needed a cut on Sunday so I went to SportsClips...... never again. I have not received a haircut anywhere else since then and that was over 7 years ago. Great place to go and I can't wait until my 8 month old needs cuts too so we can go together. It reminds me of the barber shop my Grandpa took me to when I was a kid except they have flat screen TV's and wifi. Best cut for the money.

Ladies, if you often find yourself worrying that your guy will leave the salon looking worse than when he walked in... if you’re sick of having to go with him to make sure the stylist doesn’t mess everything up on one of the few common styles they mastered in cosmetology school last week... if you’re tired of your man going to “gentlemen’s salons” that in reality are the Hooter’s of the hair salon world (the lower the top, the higher the gratuity)... If, overall, you genuinely want your love to enjoy his haircut experience without any doubts that he *will* come home looking fabulous, then maybe recommend that he try JD & Jake’s next time. You won’t be disappointed.
