If I could rate this a zero I would. I can't say anything about Bo's tattoo skills because, unfortunately, we didn't even get to that point. We had set up an appointment a week and a half in advance. The morning of our appointment we had received an email AND text messages to remind us of our confirmed appointment. When we showed up, the shop was closed. Nobody had called us and so thinking we were in the wrong location, we called Bo. He said his car had been hit so he was on foot. He said he would be there in 5 minutes and was curious when we had set up this appointment (making it seem as though he had no idea we had an appointment in the first place). 25 minutes later he was still no where to be seen. We called again and he became very defensive, once again stating he was only 5 minutes away and he was working his "a** off" to get there. We said we would wait a little longer, but then we would have to move on because it had now been 35 minutes. Bo responded that "we might as well just go somewhere else" because he wasn't going to be there for a while yet. Therefore, we left. I was beyond disappointed because the reviews had been good, but it was very unprofessional.

We took the whole family !! My husband has been here a few times and has always come back looking so great! Fresh shave and trim on his beard and wonderful barber hair cut and has only the nicest of words for Laura! So we took our two year old for his first hair cut, she was so friendly and patient with him ! Even with his head moving she gave him the perfect cut! It was my turn and she managed to turn my lopsided hair into a beautifully cut with the Lenghth I still wanted! This place will be our new home for hair cuts ! Especially for my two boys ! I love the decor and feel of the shop! I truly believe if you want a quality shave and hair cut this is the place for you ! Thank you!!

Had a great time hanging out down at Salvation Tattoo Barber Parlor out In cedar falls! ladies if your guy needs a great cut, beard trim, a beer, and a wahl neck massage this is the place to be. And heck if you get a wild hair up your butt you can even get a tattoo from the artist there! I am originally from California and great barber shops are a dime a dozen out there, but this place is truly a one of a kind that provides quality at a great price I will be returning as soon as it’s time for my next cut

Seems like a great start for a small family business. Clean environment. Family friendly. The artist Bo is great at doing what he can to be flexible with your hours. He stayed late for one client, and came in early for me the following day. The barber Laura has a bubbly personality and really helps you feel comfortable, plus does great work. I truly recommend this shop if your in the Cedar Falls area. I can't wait to follow this family and see what they make of the business.

I heard about this place from a friend and thought I would try it out. I've had subpar barber experiences in the past, but Salvation Tattoo Barber Parlor is excellent! Laura did my haircut and did a phenomenal job! She periodically checked in if I liked it, and wanted to do a good job. They even do the neck shave with a straight razor! They are all about customer service and even offered me something to drink! Price was pretty reasonable, especially for the quality of the haircut! 10/10 would recommend!

I found Salvation Parlor through a google search and recommended it to my fiance for a haircut the day before our wedding because of Laura's portfolio. She did an incredible job! I decided to give her a try on October 2nd because I was in desperate need of a haircut. The shop's aesthetics alone are worth a visit. It's such a unique place. Laura was absolutely amazing! I felt comfortable right away and that doesn't happen too often for me. Her passion for what she does was apparent through our conversations, not to mention the amazing miracle she worked on my hair. I waited a couple of days to post a review to see what kind of reactions I would get from co-workers and my husband. Everyone, literally everyone, has had nothing but good things to say! I love it! I feel great and she actually listened to what I wanted and made it look 100 times better than I had imagined! DON"T HESITATE ON BOOKING WITH LAURA! She is fantastic! Tip for new comers: Go around the back of the plaza and go in the multi-door entrance to the far right of the parking lot. It can be a little tricky to find on your first trip, but again, it's totally worth it!

My fiance found Salvation Parlor through a google search and recommended it because of Laura's portfolio. It was a great experience. I loved the ability to book online and all the reminders and conformations that came with it. Laura was a great conversationalist and really talked about what I wanted done. And of course the ultimate test, the fiance approves of the hair. Tip for new comers: Go around the back of the plaza and go in the door directly off the parking lot that has their sign in it. Laura said she was working on signage, but I'd thought I give some guidance in the meantime.

Laura does a great job. I've gotten cheaper haircuts and they look like cheaper haircuts (you get what you pay for). Her pricing is probably middle tier. Considering how good of a job she does, I still feel like I'm getting a deal. I saw another review critiquing how long she takes for cuts, feeling like they were in a "salon". I'm not sure why this is a bad thing. You can tell she's in the business of building relationships with clients, not cranking out as many haircuts as she can in a day. If you want to be in and out in 10 minutes, this might not be the place for you. If you want a reliable barber and understand that a good cut takes time, I recommend

Laura has been cutting my hair for a few years now. One thing I can always guarantee is she puts her best foot forward every cut. She always does exactly wha I ask and when I’m not sure she always makes it look great. Best traditional straight razor shave I’ve had. Always make it a point to get the neck shave. Highly recommend coming here as you will not be disappointed.

Came here for a new style cut and turned out great. They always look good when you leave the shop but the real test is when you try to do it yourself. Looked just as good on day two. Will definitely be returning for more cuts in the future. Laura works very hard and does great work!
