I’m really not one to leave reviews but these brothers really did me wrong. This place use to be good, but it ain’t it anymore. I signed in multiple times and they would take their friends before anyone else. I had to wait over 2 hours one day. And they would they had an appointment, but when I called to make an appointment they said I couldn’t. Once I got on the chair and explained the hair cut he wouldn’t listen to me instead joking with his friends and dancing to the music. Half way through the hair cut he gives a pick he says he can’t cut my hair cause it’s too curly. I tell him I can’t wash my hair hair and come back, so home boy hands me a pick and says do it your self. So here I am in the middle of a barber shop doing my own hair while the barber is just chillin. After he finally finishes he jus waiting for the money and doesn’t even let me look at the cut. I usually pay $17 for cut, but he looks at me and laughs and insults me in front of the whole store, and took the $20 without giving me my change. If you’re in Indy and need a Cut, don’t go here if you respect yourself Motto Cuts is good All Stars I would rather go to great clips than these guys again.

The service is top notch and sometimes there is a line because of that. I recommend making an appointment. I am white and have never been discriminated against there. I felt the need to post this after reading someone's claim of discrimination. If anyone was bumped ahead, they had an appointment. The sign in list/appointment list is on a huge monitor hanging on the wall.

Took my 3 year old for a hair cut on friday just to find out the next day they gave him lice! means they are not clean they don’t disefect it’s disgusting! my 3 year old never has had lice and afterwards from his hair cut he starts itching and his dad checked it out just to find my son has lice. Not only that , the guy who cut my sons hair pulled his hair and yelled at him for crying most ruthless person i ever meet. Horrible place!

These guys know exactly what they are doing. I went in there missing the guy who was supposed to serve me for my appointment (number 6), that is the reason for 4 starts by the way. For a first timer it could be disappointing but I told me myself let me give them another chance. Anyway long story short number was not occupied and since I didn't know anyone I was more than happy to be served. The guy did exactly what I wanted. For the first time since I came to Indy I got my hair done correctly! Totally go to these guys. They surely know their business around cutting hairs.

I received what is by far the worst haircut that I have ever experienced during my time on this planet here. To preface things, I am a black man from the south side of Chicago and as such am pretty sure that I know what a good haircut looks like. If you are also black/non-white and value what your hair looks like then please do not go here. Not only did the "barber" push my lining incredibly far back in the front but he also did so in the back. As a result, I broke out with razor bumps so bad that I was forced to see a dermatologist and have been waiting for what is now 3 weeks for them to disappear so that I can find someone who knows how to cut hair. Also, the ambiance was deplorable. The guy was singing along to the Spanish music that was blasting from the loud speakers directly into my ear. He also never even asked my name or spoke during the entire experience. When I reluctantly handed him what he asked for and more, he rolled his eyes. Please never ever go here, if I had time I would try to get the place closed myself.

The barbers seemed really nice and friendly but my barber showed no care what so ever as if he was trying to get rid of me, awful experience with this one person and started cutting my hair without putting an apron on me I just hated it. If you come it will be a hit or miss.

My guy is Ronny. Fairly decent barber. Sometimes the price fluctuates by a buck or two. I wish they would sweep the hair off the floor in between clients. Does not feel professional or clean to stand atop a mound of dirty hair. I'll be sure to mention it the next time. I'll hold out on room for improvement but if nothing is done I'll shop elsewhere.

Nice barbershop! Nice location! They dont speak Spanish and hair is swept, but they do nice work - Pick your battles. Besides, I have no problem with them speaking their language! They speak English when they speak with their clients! I like the way they keep my full beard looking fresh!

Amazing barbershop! My barber Joel paid ALOT of attention to the details of my haircut. It was about 45-an hour cut and worth every minute. He took his time, kept asking me if what he was doing was what I wanted, took all my requests, and made small talk. The atmosphere in the shop is family friendly and the barbers help each other out too. Definitely recommend it.

Great place! I'd recommend them to anyone. They are very good with race and everything. I am white my kids are white and Mexican and my other boys are puerto rican. It's a great place for mixed people. I don't know that guy put that. "Discriminatory towards non dominicans and extremely customer unfriendly" stupid comment!

Secret gem of a place to get a quality haircut. Everyone is very detail in the cuts but plan to stick around for a while i average 45 minutes not partially still having hair and getting my beard done. Only item that is hard for me is that they mostly speak Spanish which my Spanish consist of what is on a Mexican restaurant menu

I have a friend who goes here regularly with no problems, but my one visit was pretty terrible. It was like getting a haircut from a grumpy pirate, and was easily the worst trim I've gotten. The guy was surly and physically rough, and would abruptly shove my head sideways if he wanted me to tilt or turn it. When it came time to shave the nape of my neck, he scraped the straight razor across it completely dry. I've never had such bad razor burn in my life. When I showed friends they winced and asked why I didn't walk out. Good question.

They have gotten a little bit too cocky lately and it’s becoming unprofessional. After a year and a half of coming here it’s time to find a new home .. none of them speak English well so I’m explaining to you my haircut, and you still mess it up of course .. prices for haircuts have went up 15$ more than what it was when I first got there . You make an appointment they will NEVER be ready on time and still have you waiting when you arrive ., my haircuts are nice SOMETIMES but again they don’t listen and understand English well so it’s a hit or miss pretty much . Went in last week and was TOLD to give 35$ for haircut + tips .. HUH??? why would i give you a tip for something you’re already charging more than every other barber does in the city .. you don’t listen or understand correctly , you have people wait that’s booked appointments Already and the haircuts are mediocre .. you guys need to humble yourselves .. i will never be back again ..

Been coming here for 4 years. This barber (who is the owner) for 45 mins has been cutting this man's hair! To long of a time. Time to spend more then $18 bucks on my next barber shop vist. I now know why people pay 50-500 dollars to get a hairc;. It's not only about the great job but the experience and how you are treated. I'm too boogie for this long wait to be seen & lack of respect. Time is money honey! The heck!? Then, I am about to sit down & a black man says "Nope" & starts rudely giving me nasty remarks; the barber & him say he is next when I know darn toting that I was next and I rudely went in front of me. The barber knowing I only go to him didn't even look at me or communicate to me, just ignored me. There was no open dialogue. To add to the topping of this wonderful experience, I dont speak Spanish and I'm Dominican but yet I hear the staff talking about me as I can pick up a few words. The staff doesn't like me or respect me because I dont speak Spanish. This is totally a thing in Spanish culture. This discrimination needs to stop at this barbershop! I am a gay Hispanic & non speaking Spanish man. I guess you CAN put a price on a quality barber, haircut & experience, smh! SAVE YOUR MONEY, DIGNITY & TIME, DO NOT COME HERE!

We take our kids to get their hair cut here and they are amazing. They do a fantastic job of paying attention to detail. Very clean cuts. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because even though they are very talented as far as cuts go, they stop to talk too much. We are always in there about 20 minutes longer than we should be just due to them stopping to talk and play around. So if you're in a hurry, I would say go somewhere else but outside of that, they are worth every penny. Some barbers are better than others. Keep an eye out.
