I went in today to get a slickback fade. It was my first time ever coming into this shop. I had Marty and honestly it was a dope cut. May not have been 100% the style I wanted but the overall service was amazing. He was very detailed with the cut and took his time to make sure it looked as good as possible. Can't wait to come back to try out the other barbers and stylist they have here!

Love this place. From my first experience here, I got a quality cut - it never felt rushed. In fact, as someone whose hair has been exclusively cut at the discount chain cutting joints, I was amazed at the time taken on my hair (double to triple the amount of time ever spent on it before). At the end of my cut, I was willing (and ready) to pay double those discount placed based on the quality and time taken - yet, when I got to the counter, I was pleasantly surprised to find I paid the EXACT same. Why would I ever go back to a Not-So-Great-Clips again. Looking forward to stopping in today and getting the final cut before my wedding.

Awesome old school barber shop. Even the younger guys can give a traditional type haircut, something you can't get at the chains. I had Jim today and he even did my eyebrows, just like in the old days when all the barbers did that. I saw younger guys getting the more "new school" type cuts, so they can please every age group. With so many older barbers retiring, I am glad that there is a shop I can go to and get that same service I always liked, and these younger guys will be around past the time when I don't need to worry about haircuts anymore.

Just had my first haircut at Moffitt's. Great experience and very friendly. Every customer is greeted with a warm hello. Christian (owner) did an outstanding job. Friendly and courteous, took his time. Full class service all the way. I will definitely be back.

Walked in the shop today for the first time. While everyone seemed friendly the issue was with the hair cut I walked out the door with. The gentlemen who cut my hair left my fade and overall hair cut patchy and short. I walked in with a long top of hair and left a patchy mess. For the price of $18 it’s a frustrating to see that no one in the shop offered service to repair it. I had to go to another barber shop and spend an additional $15 to fix the mess. I really wanted to enjoy going the shop seeing as everyone else left looking sharp. But that wasn’t the case for me. Really upsetting.

Great Atmosphere. I work as an electrical contractor in heavy industrials in the area so I fit right in this place when I bring my young son for a cut. The old school barbers are entertaining and the young school barbers play along quite nicely. My son doesn't always get a consistent cut because we go to 1st available chair but we keep coming back for the friendly atmosphere. The barbers love joking with my son. I can't imagine this type of service at a chain place. After each visit my son bombrushes the lollypop stash under the register. Even though the young owner is a Cubs fan he is a good dude ;)

These guys do a really great job. Really friendly. I just wish they took appointments because they get really packed and dont have many chairs for people who are waiting. I know it's a small shop but I would suggest they have some seats outside the door at least.

Unfortunately one of the worst cuts I’ve ever had, which is a bummer because I was hoping I found a new barbershop. The fade I got was so uneven and choppy and the lines so deep (which I didn’t notice until I got home) that the place I went to to have fix it couldn’t even fully hide the mistakes. The one positive about the place is that everyone seems friendly and there isn’t a bunch of profanity or crass talk being thrown around like some barbershops I’ve been to.

After a thorough discussion about how I wanted my hair to be cut, the barber proceeded to chop off a large portion of my hair. It took ten months to grow it out, and it’s gone now. I’m sure it was a a simple understanding, but I’m quite devastated. Make sure you request Christian as your barber if you want something other than a standard cut. He’s great with his clients.

COME HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD QUALITY HAIRCUT! I’ve been getting my hair cut here for the past few years and have always been satisfied with their service. The owner, Chris, took over the barbershop and I love how he kept the charm and feel of the place. He always greets his customers and makes you feel right at home. It’s a busy at times, but that’s just a testament as to how many people love this place! Services are more than fairly priced for the quality received. The barbershop is the epitome of a hidden gem here in Munster. A small business with a big footprint. I’ve met people who’ve been get their hair cut here for decades and the barbers cater to all hairstyles. Would definitely recommend!

I went to this barber shop on Wednesday afternoon (4/22/2015) to get my head shaved. I am new to the area, and "Ray" was the assigned barber. He cut and nicked my head over and over again. Worst haircut of my adult life. I came home afterwards and blood was still flowing from my head. Who even know if he even used a clean razor! Then Ray (probably a graduate of the Sweeney Todd Barber College) did not even apologize. I would NEVER go back again. I do not believe that “Ray” is competent to engage in barber services, and the owner, Mr. Moffitt, who I think was present and saw what had happened, failed to properly supervise. He also didn’t say a word of apology!

Had a pleasant experience at this barbershop. Great customer service and awesome cut at a very reasonable price! I was kinda surprised by how busy this place was, which is a good sign for a good barbershop. There were 4 - 5 customers ahead of me and all 5 barbers working, but the wait time was roughly 30 mins, which is not bad at all. I'd recommend this barbershop to my brothers-in-law and would go back again.

The best cutting experience I've had. I like the old school cuts and they cut them to perfection. They take their time, and when you are finished it is definitely worth the wait and money. Be prepared to wait at times, they can get busy. It's all part of the experience though. It's got an old-school feel, and everyone is always talking sports or politics, and there is a TV or magazines to read. I try and always get Christian, but if he isn't in or I'm in a bit of a hurry the other guys are great too. Class acts. Professional service. I recently moved 25 minutes away, but will still be making my way back when I can to get a nice cut. Now, all we need is for them to serve beers while we wait. :-)

Come here for your haircuts! Moffitt’s is a genuine barbershop. It’s been around awhile and has an excellent vibe. Skip the places like hair cuttery and ingrate clips and come here. The barbers may not keep your cut on but that’s because they don’t have to. These barbers remember what you like, every detail.

Fantastic barbershop with an amazing staff! This really is a gem in Munster. All of the barbers do a fantastic job, and they are extremely friendly. Dakota even cut my hair for my wedding, and it looked tremendous. The place is friendly for both children and adults alike. I have been going once every 6 weeks for the past few months, and I will continue as long as I can. A+ service!

I was hesitant going to a new barber, but tried Moffitt’s based on the reviews. I was very pleased with my haircut. Fernando was my barber and did an excellent job. He took the time to listen to how I wanted my hair tight and tapered on the sides, tapered in the back, natural arch around the ears, have my sideburns mid- ear length, and have the top of my hair textured. He was very meticulous with clipping my hair and took his time. Congrats! You got yourself a new customer for life!!! A+++
