Cool little old school barbershop. I have been going here for years to the same Barber, Milosh. Friendly staff with a friendly Dog in the window. I have an appointment at 3:30 tomorrow and when you bool online you get and email reminders in case you forgot to plug it in your phone calendar. Great Barbershop.

Went in today for a beard trim and was not disappointed. Kaila did a great job. This place is friendly and laid back and the staff knows what they are doing. Two things to know: cash only and book ahead using the scheduler linked on their website. Had a great experience and will definitely be visiting again.

The best barbershop I've ever been to. They're are all cool, and they give great, affordable haircuts with no fussing around. That's everything a barbershop is supposed to be. If that's not enough, it's right next to public transit and their website works great for scheduling. There isn't anything a sane person could complain about.

FROM ONE BARBER TO ANOTHER... I visit Chicago a couple times a year. Normally i don't trust getting my haircut at random shops...i did a lil research and found this place. I was looking for the old school vibes, quality barbers and just overall a good experience...they delivered! My barber was Kaila, she did a solid job, my haircut was clean and she knew what she was doing, very detail oriented. I recommend this spot, I'll definately stop back through next time in Chicago.

I've been going there for 5 years now and have had nothing but but perfect cuts from Milosh. The attention to details is incredible and you can tell Milosh takes great pride in his work, even after a long day of work. I could disappear for 6 months and he would still remember how I like my hair and what I do for a living. Great guy and great place - I'll be going there for as long as I am in Chicago.

Barbers here cut great! Can't really go wrong with any just as long as you know what you want, they'll cater to you accordingly. No complaints so far. They finish every haircut with a clean neck shave with a razor along with a hot towel. The barbers love to talk to their clients so don't be shy to pick up a conversation. They even updated their appointment system which is awesome! Just keep in mind that slots fill up quickly so make appointments with at least a few weeks in advance.

I recently discovered this place. It has a small business vibe which I like. Justin cuts my hair and he is amazing. I consistently get great haircuts. They recently raised their price from $18 to $23 but that is okay because of the great haircut. Make sure to book your appt in advance because justin fills up quickly

Went here because I was headed to the festival and needed a haircut in a pinch. Though I did have to come back, they weren't snotty about it like a lot of shops can be. Was cut by the redheaded girl. (Whose name I can't recall, but she was two chairs in and married to the shop owner.) She gave me exactly what I wanted (the Seth Cohen classic) after finishing a nice Adam Levine-y bald fade on the man just before me. Girl knows what she's doing.

Very professional barber shop, great service. The thing that will keep me coming back though, is this: While I was getting a haircut, a man who was clearly homeless came in to the shop. The staff greeted him by name and talked with him while he sat for a moment in the waiting area. He stayed awhile and then left. I want to give my money to a business where the staff are friendly to someone struggling and looking for a warm place to sit on a cold day. Thank you.

New Review: this is been my favorite haircut place for a long time, but I felt the need to edit my review because of how unsatisfied I am with my most recent haircut - I truly believe it is the worst I’ve had in a really long time. Pretty much every day since I got it I’ve discovered a new bizarre element of the haircut. Altogether this is the opposite of how I like my hair done and what I communicated to the barber. I’m tempted to give one star except for the fact that I’ve previously liked this place. But seriously - for such a well reviewed barbershop, i’m incredibly disappointed. Former Review: Had a haircut and shave with Aaron Johnson. Great conversation and great haircut. Couldn't be happier.

This barber shop is fantastic! I moved to Chicago two years ago, after going to a different barber shop every few weeks for about a year I finally found one that I love. Esquire is hands down the best barber shop I've ever been to, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they ask you questions about your hair and cut it exactly how you want it. If you have a goal in mind with how you eventually want your hair to look like they'll help you achieve it. I honestly couldn't ask for a better barber shop. If I still haven't convinced you to go to this barber shop I thought I should also mention that they have a dog there named Nyla.. 10/10 would recommend!

Got my hair cut here for 6 years, and would recommend to anyone, as long as you have a sense of humor. Fun and friendly environment, and never got a bad haircut. Make an appointment on their website in advance, as appointments book up quick. Unfortunately had to move out of the area (sorry, Milosh), but will try to get back when I can.
