First time here and had a good experience . Good haircut and service was great. Katerina did an great job cutting my hair and my sons. Made some suggestions and turned out great. Definitely will be going there again. Atmosphere was great and enjoyed the blues music playing and interesting objects in the place.

I would normally get my haircut downtown at the same spot. However, I had to be in court the next day and was near home. I stopped into Benny's and have been going back every since. Benny is a fantastic guy and a talented barber. An additional benefit is getting to hear Benny's views on the world. I highly recommend stopping in for your next haircut. Benny and his staff are fantastic. Also a very "kid friendly" place.

I recently came back from living in Europe for two years, and was so nervous to go to a barber around here, because the hairstyles I want are not typical west-suburban Chicago. I walked in, and I could tell already that I would be in good hands with Benny, as he is European (living in the US for 11 years though)!! These instincts were not wrong. Perfect haircut, did exactly as I asked. I was blown away with the quality, AND, it's only $17 for a men's cut.. For this type of barbershop quality, virtually unbeatable around this area. While I was in there, a bunch of different types of people came in as well, so I know that Benny is also as versatile as he is talented as a barber. Super cool guy too, very likable and hilarious to talk to. So glad I found this place and took a chance. You should too.

My experience at Benny’s Barbershop has been nothing less than excellent! It is a great place for a haircut. Benny can cut any kind of hair any kind of way you want. The pricing is completely reasonable. Do not settle for anything less than Benny’s Barbershop. Other so called barbershops like floydd’s and similar places where the women there do not know how to cut hair, but flirt with you. These places are a complete joke and so are you for paying them to cut your hair. Do not settle for anything less than Benny’s Barbershop.

Little barbershop in a strip plaza. The staff are friendly and they obviously love birds, because they have a whole bunch of bird cages in the shop. If you are a casual animal/bird lover, you'll like this place. If you're uptight, don't like birds, or have issues with hair salons/barber shops needing to be immaculately clean, then you probably shouldn't go to this place. It's not fancy, but they know how to cut hair, and the price is right.

I started going to this wonderful and friendly shop about six months ago, after my long time barber retired. Benny, Val and Dregana are absolute artists. They cut hair meticulously and are great people as well. We are lucky to have this place in our area! You must try it out!

Came here off a Google search and while the haircut was not terrible it wasn't the same as I would usually get at other barber shops. For the cut I got don't think it was worth the money. One of the girls here, who doesn't speak much English, is reluctant to do shape-ups around your head either with a trimmer or razor so that's a bit concerning. She had to ask the other young lady for help. Atmosphere is good , owner seems very enganged with customers. I think I will give it another shot in the future and see if anything changed.

Been there lots of times and will be going, place is very friendly and Benny and Val do a great job no question about it. Last couple times the new girl Katarina did the beard and hair for me and I’m very happy with her also! Don’t know what happened with the little parrots though!

For the last year or so, I’ve been going to Benny’s and have loved it. Benny and Val gave me great haircuts every time that I came in and the entire atmosphere has been great. However, last time I went, I was given a different barber that I had never seen before. She completely ruined my hair, and went completely opposite of my directions. The haircut was so atrociously bad that I don’t think I can go there anymore. Benny and Val do a great job, but if I were to go I would definitely stick to one of them to tend to your hair.

Ive only been to bennys a couple times this past year since im away at college. I love this barbershop its very old school and benny is a funny guy. Today i got a haircut by his nephew. I was hesitant at first because he looked about my age but i think i got myself a new barber. He gave me a really, really good haircut and he is vey social too. I guess it runs in the family.

5 years ago I had just moved here from Oregon, and one of my dilemmas was looking for the right barber. I went to numerous shops and could never find the right one who did the job to my expectations. Well one day I had decided to make stop at Benny's shop out of a gut feeling and to my surprise Benny was the most welcoming person I had met here so far! He is a great barber who exceeds my expectations to this day and and overall great person who makes his customers feel like they are all just as important to him. $17 for an very persice haircut is quite the steal! I recommend Benny 10/10.
