Arrived st 5 and it was moderately busy. I opted for the first available stylist which gave me a 26 minute wait time. About 30 minutes later I was "on deck" meaning I was about to be seen. However as people were being checked out I wasn't called up. A few other people went ahead of me and noticed I was back up to 11 minutes on the list. A little later a few more people were seen that had checked in after me. I finally left a little after 6 without being seen. In total waiting just over an hour for an initial 26 minute wait time.

I brought my 11 year old son in for a haircut today. When he returned to the waiting area from the cutting area, I asked him if the stylist had even cut his hair. There was no product in it, and his hair was still long. The only evidence of a haircut was that she had trimmed his sideburns. When I asked her if she could cut more off, she said she would, but she was going to charge me for another haircut. I left and finished cutting his hair at home, after spending $21 for an 11-year-old's sideburn trim. I've never been dissatisfied there. I'm not sure if the stylist was new, because I've never seen her before, but this was the first really bad experience we have had here. We've had good and mediocre, but this visit was very poor. To be told I would be double-charged after the stylist barely cut his hair to begin with was ridiculous.

I had never heard of Sports Clips before but my girlfriend takes her son there frequently. I went in thinking I would just get a haircut and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The stylist did exactly what I wanted and then I got a massaging shampoo while sitting in a massaging chair. She put hot towels on my face while doing this and turned it in to a great experience. I liked that the shampoo came after the haircut so that it would help remove the cut hair that tends to fall off all day after getting a normal haircut. I will definitely be going back to Sports Clips when I'm in Boise again.

I think you're a contemporary, family friendly salon with employees that have a sense of unity among themselves and to the business. Most of your stylists have both strong communication and styling skills. In my most recent trip, I was surprised that Gina has only worked with you for 2-3 months, but I think she's given me the best experience that I have had in your store. She was friendly, she cared about her job, she wasn't afraid to interact and build social rapport with her customers. Most importantly, what has separated her from other stylists that I've typically had at your store, she's not only willing to go the extra mile if asked, but she does it on her own. I saw something that could be corrected on one side, but then she went ahead and made sure the other side was good without prompting. It was also a very busy day, you were short staffed, but she still had the professionalism and friendliness that I love.

First Ashlee offered me the MVP treatment at a regular haircut cost sense it was my first time in the salon. Second Ashlee was friendly, funny and remembered my family member coming in. That speaks volumes but mostly she was very Pleasant . The main reason: I walked out of there looking like 1 million bucks and have received numerous compliments on how well my hair looked. It has been one week since my haircut which yesterday I got another compliment I will definitely be going back and this is my Place of choice and feels more like ai men’s retreat . I don’t know anything about male haircuts or terms used so I was nervous about trying to express what my son wanted. He had long hair because he hasn’t ever liked his haircuts and wanted a short styled cut. Ashlee was great! She understood exactly what we wanted and put notes in the computer to ensure the next person knows what he wants if she isn’t there. She taught him how to style his hair, quick and easy, and recommended products that worked on his hair. We have never found a product strong enough to hold up his heavy hair until now. I like having sports on while I get my hair cut. My girlfriend isn't really that into watching sports on tv so it's nice to get that time to myself. That being said, whoever is in control of the remote rarely seems to get that we want to actually watch a sporting event...or at least I do. Sports Center is cool but a lot of the other sports talk shows don't really seem to fit the jist of the place. ESPN is a decent go-to but there are a bunch of channels and especially during baseball season, you can probably find a game to put on. Seriously, this is my biggest complaint and while it seems small, it's one of the main reason I go to Sport Clips. I also like when the stylists are knowledgeable of the services you offer...and actually offer them. I enjoy the MVP service but sometimes forget to ask for it...or don't know when to ask for it. The last couple times I went to your store on Eagle Rd. and the women looked at what I got before and asked if I would like to do the MVP again. I used to go the the one on State St and 18th and they never asked...and half the time there was something wrong but fixable with the tvs (wrong channel, channel guide open the entire time I was there, etc). The Eagle Rd training seems to be better. Also, the last two women did a fantastic job. I LOVE scalp massages and my previous trips I didn't really get one. The last two trips were WONDERFUL! Again, whatever you're doing at the Eagle Rd shop could possibly be used as an example for other stores on what to do right (with again, a little more attention to what's on TV). I like a lot of the new upgrades like the waiting room chairs. The check-in system is ok but it seems like every time I go in there's something new to figure out and that's pretty annoying when there are other people in line or waiting to pay.

The staff was friendly and though there were a number of people on the waiting list, it progressed quickly. When my turn came I was assigned to a courteous and professional stylist named Ashley. My haircut is fairly basic but some barbers in the past haven’t quite gotten right. Ashley did a great job and was quite fast. I left feeling relaxed and clean.

I've been cutting my own hair for years because no one could get it right but Lacie did an outstanding job and will be cutting my hair from here on out. My only complaint is the online check-in is difficult to use if you're not at the location already. Also it told me there was no wait but when I got to the location, there was a 30 min. wait.

I have gone in 2 hair cuts and they were OK. I just got my 3rd haircut at Sport Clips and ended up with a horrible haircut. Dont use these guys. You will regret it. I ended up with a mullett. Its apparent these guys will hire anybody.

This was the best haircut I have ever had. My stylist Tasha was great! My hair looks great. Tasha was awesome, very personable, and likable and chatty to the right extent. I was able to check in online, which made things easy and smooth. Tasha gave me the MVP treatment which felt amazing. Fantastic haircut, by a great stylist, good ambiance. Would definitely recommend Sports Clips in Meridian, on Fairview and Eagle. I also highly recommend asking for Tasha. Thanks Tasha for the great haircut, I'll be seeing you in a month or so for my next cut. (also I usually shower and style my own hair after getting a haircut, but this time I won't, I love how she styled my hair with gel after the cut)

The 2 stars is out of respect to the wonderful people who used to work here. Would be lower if not for them. I went to this location off and on for about 3 years. I do not get a complicated hair cut, but for some reason a no-fade, down to the skin high-and-tight is difficult to understand. Tia was the first to get it the way I like it, but then she moved to a different store. If not for April I would have gone with her. Then I met April. So personable, one of the best stylists I have ever met, and she takes the time to show she cares by remembering me even after I leave town for two months at a time. Recently I heard about some politics in this store, but to be 100% honest, I don't care. Without going into these said politics that I don't care about, I will never return to this location, unless April comes back to it at some point in the future. As a side note, if you are a client of April's and no one will explain what happened, you can find April at the Federal Way location. If the owner reads this, you need to take a serious look at the leadership you have over this store and think about the image they are creating on your behalf.

I've been going here for 6 years now for haircuts with overall good service. I've tried a few other places who could get me in quicker or that were closer to me but I keep coming back to sports clips. Gina is my go to girl and the online check in is a huge benefit and time saver!
