My son came home with a haircut from this barber and I have never seen something so atrociously done in my life. I would say it's AT LEAST four different lengths with a "star" on one side that just looks like a glob. Going to a professional to have it fixed immediately.

Cool old school barbershop. You can play chess or checkers if there is a wait. The barber is a trivia master so you are certain to be entertained, have a good laugh and learn something new then walk away with a fresh new style. This is not a place to get hair colored or designs shaved into your hair. Truly old school, with a quick personal cut and a shave if you want one.

Just because a man has been cutting hair for many years does not make him good at it. Sadly, this is my experience of this barber. Unfortunate that he’s the only one in Rigby. He gave me an uneven haircut that did not conform to what I requested at all. He missed several areas entirely. I’d suggest you avoid his beard trim as it was sloppy as well. Both my haircut and beard had to be fixed by another barber. Note: I’m told his brother runs the barbershop in Rexburg. I hope he learned differently.

I’ve known Gary for many years. I’d actually call him a great brother of mine. He has cut my hair even when we lived in Boise when we would come see the kids in the falls. Best flat top true barber anywhere. Let just say he is many cuts above the rest, so if it’s a true barber your looking for. Rigby is the place to come.

Think of the small town, single chair, barber with the checker board sitting there. That is what you will find here. He knows most of his customers by name. When he goes on vacation the shop is closed. Traditional barber nothing fancy. 20 to 30 minutes per haircut, and he'll talk your ear off. If this is the setting you are looking for, he's your barber.
