Would not recommend this place to anyone! I needed a hair cut and a beard trim, so i figured i would try a new place... I walked in and a lady sat me down for a cut.. after I told her i wanted finger length on top and a 1.5 on the sides, she buzzed my entire head with a number 2! I have a bad receding hairline and the top does not grow fast at all, which really makes it worse! On the the beard trim... I told her to shape it up and taper it down, taking off as little as possible.. guess what, she gets her buzzers out, for a beard? NO!!! after the beard was horribly done, my chin hair is about 1 inch long now and the cheek area is about 3 inches long, with single straggler hairs everywhere, i finally stopped her and told her I would fix the rest... after spending $23 at JACKS, i am headed to another barber to get it all fixed! The worst part of all, is the TWO other barbers saw the disappointment in my face the entire time and knew why i was mad, but did not offer to help the lady... THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I read a lot of great reviews, and figured i would try it, but that was a mistake! WONT be going back, and wont every recommend this to ANYONE!

Adam cut my hair and it was a great experience, it's pretty obvious that he takes great care and pride in what he does. I'm younger and consider myself fashionable and am very satisfied with his work. I also had some of the best barber seat conversation in awhile.If I lived in Boise that place would be my new regular spot.

After trying several other places When first moving to town we finally found the Best Barbershop in the City. We required special needs after surgeries Adam was patient and understanding. Jack and his associate, Adam, were very kind and accommodating with my rambunctious boys and Adam gave my son the best haircut he has ever had. It was such a relief! Jack runs a legit barber shop where you can get a quality hair cut, from someone who has been cutting hair fir a while. Unlike the corporate hair stores where you never know what your good g to get. I just received one of the worst haircuts of my life. Let me preface this by saying that I usually go to one of the chain places. I am not picky. However, I am getting married in a month and my fiancé has been trying to get me to find a decent barber for the past several haircuts. Based on overall positive reviews, I decided to try Jack's. The biker with long ponytail at Jack's should have been enough of a warning sign for me, but I pressed forward. I asked for a #3 on sides and back then blend into top with scissors. Easy, right? As he finished and I turned around, I had to stifle a laugh. I looked like he had taken the clippers way too high then basically left a long tuft on top. The transition from clipper to approx. 2-inch length was immediate (think long-haired drill sergeant). I asked him to try to blend it in. I don't know exactly what he did, but it now looks like a messy mohawk on the top and front and clipped close on sides and back above the natural line of my head. I feel like sending him the $3000 bill for our wedding photographer. However, I'd be satisfied if HE paid ME for this royal mess. The good thing is that hair grows back, so now I will have a chance to get it cut again before my WEDDING in four weeks.

Good conversation and nice enough people and all but, the room felt stale. The cut was not on par with the reviews it has, I came in with a picture of what I wanted and it did not turn out well. The barber took his time and all but I still wasn't satisfied.

Go here if you're looking for a great cut and chill atmosphere! After moving back to Idaho I had a hard time getting/keeping a good barber. I was going to Great Clips and the barbers I'd use ended up leaving and the last time I went to them my hair got jacked up. Wife found this place and went in. The Shop had a really chill vibe. 4 barbers in there all working on somebody and all having conversations with their clients. I ended up with Adam who I plan on sticking with. He knew exactly what to do with my hair and gave honest advice. I could tell he was skilled at his job and it was very easy to keep a conversation going.

I asked for a low zero fade and to leave the length on top alone, its about 1.5 inches long on top. I even showed photos for reference. Instead the barber adam cut my hair using a #1 size clipper from the back of my neck to the top part of my head, and along my hairline, and it does not fade at all. My haircut was rushed, it didn't take more than 10 minutes.
