Horrible guys, just ONLY the owner is good and professiona. Wait was supposed to be 15 min turned out to be 1 and half hours. And on the end didn’t cut my hair. Over Horrible. Barbers are really jerks, rude and not polite.

Excellent haircut, friendly and courteous staff, can't imagine going anywhere else in the area now that I've been there. They don't take appointments so if you go at busy times be prepared to wait a bit. Definitely recommended.

I have to say… when I do find the urge to clean up and look human again, this is the only place I go to. I’ve bounced around between a few other shops in the area before I ultimately landed on “ACA” and have stuck with them for several years now. It’s not that I’m overly particular or have any sort of style I’m looking to achieve with my receding male-pattern-balding-hair… I just try to set the bar at consistent. And for whatever reason, up until finding ACA, that’s been a difficult thing to achieve with the other barbers in the area that I’ve tried. At first I would wait and only get buzzed by Gelin (who I think is the owner), but I live on the edge, and have since been cut by many of the other barbers in the shop (Manny, Eric, Zach, Ohnick, Mike, John, and Chris), and they are all good – and most importantly to me, CONSISTENT. Luck has paired me up with Chris the past few times, and I’ve never been disappointed. In fact, he’s become my favorite. “But why only 4 stars?” you may ask… If I could give 4.5 stars I probably would. My only knock on this place (aside from the nauseating hipster vibe) is the time you will inevitably spend waaaaaaaiting… The time from when you walk through the door, to when you actually sit in a chair, seems to move at glacial speeds. It’s MADDENING. I find myself scrutinizing every additional move the staff makes in between each new head – from one of them getting a sandwich at the deli next door, to discussing what movie to stream next on the many big screen TVs, to their meandering into the back of the shop for whatever reason. A waiting area a dozen guys deep often seems less urgent an issue than the need to mix up the next protein smoothie… But hey, the fact that the waiting area usually IS a dozen guys deep should tell you something about the quality of the cuts. And where am I rushing off to?? I guess ACA gives credence to the adage – Good things come to those who wait… a very long time. UPDATE: Just got back from getting a buzz and found out that ACA now allows you to book appointments... A much needed improvement in my opinion. My biggest (only) gripe about this place was the insane wait times you could encounter, and now that's no longer an issue. These guys know what they're doing, and know how to make it work. 5-Star business in my book. Cheers!

I took my soon to be 1 year old son there. I was so nervous how my son would react to the sound of the clippers but Onyeik did a awesome job at making my son and I comfortable. The place was nice and clean. All the staff were very friendly. I definitely recommend this place!!!!

So this has been a that I've wanted to visit since they were on Main Street in Sparta. Why didn't I? Because they're cash only and I almost never carry cash. So instead I just went to Supercuts and was done with it. Boy do I wish I had just used their ATM and got my hair done here sooner! So I arrived roughly 5m before opening this past Monday. Already a couple guys there. It's their busy time of year, everyone wants to look good for the holidays. I had just finished up No-Shave-November and I hadn't had a haircut since the middle of October so I was a mess. I walk in, sign in, and take a seat. I'm called up pretty quick by who appears to be the youngest guy there, Zack. Zack asked me how I'd like my hair done and I told him flat out that it was totally up to him. He could shave me bald and I wouldn't blame him but I wanted him to do what he thought would look best. He tried a few more times to get SOME direction from me but I really just wanted him to go with his gut. I couldn't be more thrilled with the result. Zack took his time and was incredibly meticulous. I'm now sporting the first beard I've ever had in my life. I don't think I've ever had so many compliments on a haircut before. Everyone there was incredibly friendly. Zack took the time to explain the different ways I could do my hair and how to care for it. The atmosphere of the shop overall was amazing. It was my first time in a real barbershop and I highly recommend every guy give it a shot. My first straight razor shave as well! It doesn't get any better than this. Sure, it's a little more money than Supercuts and it's cash only but do you want to look good? If so this is your place.

Guys are great with my 2 year old. They put cartoons on for him and have toys and just make him feel like a big man. They kill it. Hands down. They also cut my hubs hair, when he comes home he looks like a total stud. 5 stars. Only down fall is there is allwayyys a long wait.

Good group of guys. On one particular visit, It seemed like a long wait. So I took my three sons to get something to eat, when we returned, they had already called our names. They did notice I was there so they move me to the front of the line and made a bad situation good. It has not been the first time I got my haircut there, the very good professional, they do know what they're doing and it does get packed it is worth the wait.

Great haircuts, but the hours are impossible and you almost always wait more than an hour...UPDATE: Ever since they incorporated their online reservation system, the wait time problems have been completely solved. Between the ability to make reservations and the quality of their service, I decided to bump the rating back up. My only complaint is they don't seem to answer their phones anymore...

Pros Spacious, Free WiFi, Friendly people, Some experienced barbers. 1 of the only Barber Shops in Sussex county that can do a proper Shape-up. Cons Cuts cost a bit more than average. I get my hairs cut in Paterson for about 70% what they charge. That being said, I would still have to drive and spend money for gas.
