Ever since I moved here 2 years ago, I will only go to Crusin Style. It is a great environment and prices are fair for what you receive. Chris has been my barber since day 1 and my haircut is perfect every time. I recommend this place to everyone

I do not recommend coming here, especially if it's for your wedding day. The poor quality of the hot shaves were hard not to notice - missed patches, painful razor burn - both of which showed up in our photos. But unfortunately, the quality of the shaves were not the worst thing we experienced that day. I had prepaid for 8 hot shaves, and was told if anyone wanted a haircut that it would cost extra. Two of my wedding party ended up wanting and receiving haircuts. Multiple people in my wedding party asked multiple employees how much we owed extra, and were told multiple times that it was all set. Later, another of my wedding guests who was not with us when my wedding party was all there, went in for a haircut as well. He overheard employees bad mouthing our group. Not only did we go out of our way to make sure we paid for the extra services, but apparently tipping in 20s was too inconvenient for them because they had to break it with smaller bills in their register. How tacky is it to loudly complain about customers in a crowded barbershop!? At least keep it for after work in a bar or something.

Hands down the best barbershop in the area. Highly skilled barbers with an old school but family friendly barbershop vibe. They have compressed air and hoses from the ceiling at each station to blow the clippings from you instead of those unhygienic horsehair brushes. If you've never been here, just do it, for yourself. You'll never go anywhere else.

Dominick was my barber. The cut came out really nice. I got a fade, and my beard and eyebrows done. I don't really like to talk during my haircut, and he could pick up on that. It was a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. All of the clippers were in great condition and and he was gentle. I'd go back. Edit: I've been going for almost a year now. My cuts come out perfect every single time. I drive 30 minutes to and from and I don't regret it.

Best barber shop in West Chester (I've been to most of em). I used to go to Champions and really like all the people there, but became tired of long wait times (at least 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment) and they stopped selling my favorite hair pomade called "Suavecito" ... Decided to give Cruisin a shot, and I've been a customer for about a year now. Andy is my barber and he's amazing. If my appointment is 4:30, I'm in his chair at 4:30, and he gets it done in a reasonable time frame and ALWAYS does a great job. Plus they have that Suavecito in a bunch of different kinds (Coconut Cupcake is the best ... No exaggeration, I bought it a month ago I've had 4 people comment on it, including my ex who hasn't had anything nice to say to me in 5 years). Go, you won't be disappointed!!

Quite possible the best hair cuts the boys have ever received. My opinion was also shared by the boys as the left Cruisin' and strutted down the streets of West Chester. Reminiscent of John Travolta's 1977 iconic strut down 86th Street in Brooklyn.

I was referred to Cruisin' Style Barber Shop and my prayers were answered! Jenn and Craig expertly cut my 1 and 4 year old little boys hair- no horrible bowl cut bangs!!! They were everything you could have hoped for- incredibly nice, fast, and thorough! The cuts look great and we all had a great time- which is saying something with two little kids. I am so relieved to have found our regular barber, my husband is now looking forward to checking it out himself. It's a nice, clean shop with a lot of barbers (they take walk-ins but if you're in a rush make an appointment). Can't recommend this place enough! Thank you Jenn & Craig!

Cruisin is the best place to get a haircut in town. I am a student at WCU and during my time here I have tried all the other places in town. Cruisin is farther away from campus then other haircut places but I happily make the walk. It's always worth it. The people who work there are true gentlemen. Always respectful and professional and not to mention they give a pretty great haircut. What more could you ask for.

First time customer. I walked in today without an appointment only waited about 15 min and got in the chair. Needed a cut and a beard trim I was looking Amish. Chris hooked me fast but not rushed and cleaned me. Lastly I was getting a ticket and one of the barbers ran out and moved my truck. Awesome people, definitely will be back.

Came as a walk-in. When they say they recommend appointments, listen to them haha. I waited about an hour and a half because it was a busy evening. The only thing that got to me was there were 2 people that came in after me as walk-ins, one volunteered to give experience to an apprenticeship, but the other was taken over me which made me a bit confused. However, the quality of the cut I got made up for the wait. It was by the owner, and was quick and quality. Best cut I have had in my life and will definitely be returning (with an appointment lol).

I had been going to Cruisin' Style for a long time (since the early days when it was next to Jitters) and always dealt with Craig. The atmosphere was always great, and the staff was professional and knowledgeable with their styles and cuts. I only stopped going here a few years ago when I moved away from the West Chester area. I tried some chain shops close to my house including a salon for kids that my children went to. The cuts were never the same and my son was at an age that I felt he should be going to a barber shop and not a kiddie salon. So off we went, back to see my man Craig and get a fresh cut. We should have done this a long time ago. These were the best haircuts my son and I have gotten in a LONG TIME! My son said this is the only place he wants to go and I agree. Plus I'd rather give my money to a local business owner than to a large chain. So if you are looking for a great place to get a haircut with great barbers and a great atmosphere, Cruisin' Style is the place to be.

I can't say enough about the service and results. I had to call in and ask to be placed on the wait-list on my way as I was coming from out of town on business. I needed a touch up and they very kindly worked me in as they could. Even though I only had a few minutes to spare, I've never had such a good cut. Fantastic group of guys here, great atmosphere, and they always treat their customers like family and with respect. I usually go to Thad but honestly I would have no issue letting any of the guys give me a cut. Top notch barber shop coming from someone who's seriously picky about where they go. I tried everywhere else in WC until I landed here and I won't go anywhere else. If you need any more convincing, one of my boys drives 45 minutes from his house to get his cut here. Take that as you will.

They have good customer service but they’re not true true barbers. Every time I’ve gone in I had to ask for them to use the straight edge to line me up. They can’t do fades well either. I would say this is more of a male salon rather than a barber shop.

Even though we had an appointment, there was an extended wait in a chaotic atmosphere of barbers having loud conversations with each other over the shop music player. This drove our parking cost to $2.25, since West Chester doesn't have anything like a people shuttle to free parking like a more visitor friendly town might. One son was asked how he wanted his hair cut but felt his response was totally ignored. Not a good experience for us that day.

* Update * received prompt service after my complaint by the owner. Really appreciate a business that can own up to a mistake and fix it. Nowhere is perfect but this is how you handle a situation perfectly. Original review - Never got an apology for my experience with the barber Thaddeus who insulted me by telling me I had a greasy head when I asked him to correct his original cut after he left a patch of hair on my head. "It's only a few hairs" and "no one can even see that" he told me. After he fixed it, he says "it's because you had a lot of grease in your head". Meanwhile before the cut he tells me he's hungover, as he's chomping on Pringles. No apology, but my review did somehow get erased. Interesting. Just want an apology. Otherwise this business is pretty well ran.

We got there and after waiting a bit, we realized there was a mix up in the schedule. His appointment was for tomorrow and not today. I was worried, but they assured me they’d take care of me and they did. I needed quarters to feed the meter. They didn’t have any on hand, but were determined to help me. The young lady at the front, whose name I didn’t catch, (sorry!!!) actually walked two blocks with me, with Dominic’s credit card, to put more time on my meter. THEY DID NOT HAVE TO GO THAT FAR, and they did. When we returned, Jenny shared that they comped my son’s haircut. THEY DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT, and they did. Great place, talented barber but I went in for a beard trim and they offered to clean up the back of my neck and such. Then charged me for a cut and trim. Pulled the wool right over my eyes. I wouldn’t have said yes to the clean up if I knew I was going to be upsold like that. But, it looked great! Go here for a trim but tread lightly.

OIly hair? Brittle hair? These guys are really good at customizing to your hair type. Would definitely recommend

Went here for a pre-wedding shave with my groomsmen, and it was a great time. The hot shave was the most relaxing thing I've ever experienced, and Juice and the rest of the guys were all great. Groomsmen looked sharp for the wedding, which made for a very happy wife. Definitely book in advance though, because it seems like they're a popular spot (and for very good reason).
